St Patrick's Parish Church, Broughshane

St Patrick's Parish Church, Broughshane People who share God’s love with the community, by welcoming those who come through the door and serving those outside it. Everyone is welcome to God’s house.

What We Do
The great Commandment teaches us to ‘Love the Lord with all your heart, soul and mind’ and to ‘Love our neighbour as yourself’. The great Commission teaches us to ‘Go and make disciples of all nations baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit’. The great Commandment and the great Commission are what the Church exists to do in today’s world. This can

be explained as follows:

To know Jesus and make him known
It is every Christian’s responsibility to share the good news – to tell people of Christ’s life, death and resurrection and His coming again. Worship
To worship, to pray, praise and to serve God day by day and not neglect to come together to recharge our spiritual batteries Sunday by Sunday in Church. Fellowship
To our Church all are welcome, let no one be a stranger here. Discipleship
As a church we are called not only to reach people but to teach people to grow in the knowledge and love of God. Ministry
The church exists to minister to people showing God’s love to others and helping them in their needs. Please pray for our parish, clergy and people that under the guidance of the Holy Spirit we may go forward in faith. May we always remember that the tasks ahead of us are not as great as the Power behind us, the Power of the living Christ.
