Well, that was fun! We had a great time celebrating our companion animals tonight. The dogs in attendance were extremely well behaved, both in the chapel and as we shared refreshments and fellowship afterwards. We gave thanks for all the joy we find with our pets. We also added the names of pets we have loved and lost to a memory tree, with much gratitude for all we shared with them in life.
God's creation is marvellous indeed! This is the first time we have had a pet service. Hopefully it is something we can repeat next year!

This Sunday 16th August at 6pm bring your pet to Broseley Baptist Chapel, Chapel Lane, to say thanks and get them blessed.
You can also bring along a photo of your pet, or of a companion animal you have loved and lost.
