As we get closer to the holidays, we would like to wish everyone a fun, relaxing, well-earned break!

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported us throughout 2025 - we've had an amazing year and we're so grateful for every partner, business and friendly face we've met along the way.

Just a quick note: our office will be closed from midday on 23rd December and will reopen on Monday 5th January 2026.

🎄✨ Kicking off the festive season in style!

The Hinton Group UK Christmas party got underway with some friendly competition at Flight Club Darts, followed by an incredible steak dinner at PASTURE. We wrapped up the night Vagabond Wines, with a few night owls heading on to F1® Arcade to keep the celebrations going.

We're delighted to share that planning has been submitted for a new Aldi store on the former Broad Lane Leisure site in Alcester, Warwickshire! This is our second planning submission for Aldi in recent months, following the Ryde (Isle of Wight) proposal.

The response from the public has been fantastic, are we're looking forward to getting started in the new year.

Another Step Forward for Hinton Group and Sainsbury's

We're pleased to share that planning permission has now been submitted, with a decision to be made in December, for a new Sainbury's Local on the Bishopton Lane site in Stratford -upon-Avon. This scheme is being delivered in partnership with LNT Care Developments.

The proposal will also include six Believ electric vehicle chargers, reflecting our ongoing commitment to creating sustainable and future-ready communities.

This project us one of several Sainbury's Local schemes we've progressed this year. Another scheme is located at Taylor Wimpey's Burleyfields development in Stafford, where our Reserved Matters application is due to be determined towards the end of the year.

Alongside the Sainsbury’s store, the Burleyfields scheme also includes 2,500 sq ft of ancillary space, which remains available.

Something is brewing in Swadlincote! ☕

We're delighted to share that planning permission has been granted for a brand-new Costa Coffee Drive-Thru, with work starting early next year!

The 1,800 sq. ft. site will also feature 4 Ultra Rapid Charging Points from Believ, making it the perfect stop for both your caffeine fix and your EV charge.

After the success of our Copcut Rise project, this is another proud milestone for the Hinton Group team. We can't wait to see this one take shape!

Hinton Design and Build have the pleasure of announcing that works have commenced on site on to construct an 80 bedroom Modular Build Care Home in Apley, Telford! We are looking forward to working with the team at Morrison Community Care Group, Paul Sokhi, Nadir Khan-Juhoor, Karen Tebbutt & Mark Gillies.
We also have the pleasure of working with Chapman Taylor, CRGP and Design Me on this exciting new project!

Hinton Group are working on a number of Local Centre schemes, the first of which to come forward is at Burleyfields, Stafford: a mixed use development comprising up to 2,200 new homes, a primary school (opens Sept 25), and a Local Centre.
