We are an independent Evangelical Church in Catshill, near Bromsgrove, just south of Birmingham.

Our Sunday services are at 10.30am and 6pm. You are very welcome to join us and this is your invitation!

FAQs...
🔔What can I expect from a service? Some songs, some prayers, some notices, a Bible reading, a sermon and communion (usually just in the evening service).
🔔 Is there a Sunday school? Yes, we have a creche for pre-school children and Young Church for children in reception to year 6.
🔔 What do I do when I arrive? There's someone by the door to say hello and point you to a seat. You're welcome to sit wherever you like. We're friendly, so you might get a few "hello's"!
🔔 I'm not sure what I believe, can I still come? Yes, please do come! You are very welcome to join us and find out more about the Christian faith or see what church is like.
🔔 Can I talk to people after? Yes, we have refreshments in the hall after the service - you are very welcome to have a drink and a chat and ask any questions.

Would you die for your child? Your spouse? Parents? Best friend? You may answer yes for some of these, or all of them! It’s not unusual to be willing to sacrifice your own life to save someone dear to you. But would you die for a murderer? A thief? How about someone who has been nothing but nasty towards you your whole life? You probably shake your head.

We find it bizarre to even consider doing such a thing for one who has done so much wrong. Yet, in Romans 5:8, we see God has done exactly that for humanity. At the start of the verse, humanity is described as ‘sinners’, meaning we practice what is opposed to God. But the verse goes on! It was while we were still sinners, rebelling against God, that He sent His only Son to die for us. It’s how He shows sinful humanity; “I love you this much!”

God loved us this much while we were still sinners. How much more sure can be that He loves us now as a reconciled son or daughter? Through Jesus Christ, we can confidently draw near to our loving Heavenly Father for forgiveness and reconciliation.

It's our last week of kids' groups before the summer holidays and that means.... SUMMER PARTIES! 🤩

Our kids' groups will be back in September, but you can still join us on Sundays at 10.30am for our morning service, which includes Young Church (reception - yr 6) and crèche. We hope to see you there! 🤩

We're looking forward to starting "Promises Kept" at our small groups tonight!

It's a Bible overview course that will take us on a tour of the whole story of the Bible, looking at God's wonderful promises and how He keeps them through Jesus 💪🤩
