God's life-goal for us is simpler and deeper: to become more and more like Jesus in character. Not to achieve more. Not to have more. But to be more. More loving. More patient. More honest. More free.

If you're not at work today, we hope you are enjoying the freedom of the time off, and having a great Bank Holiday 😁🎉

But here's the thing: real freedom isn't just about you. It's about how you love the people around you.

Jesus prayed for one thing: that we would be one. That we'd love God with everything we have, and love our neighbours as ourselves.

Here's what we often miss: A right relationship with God should lead to a right relationship with the people around us. But how do we actually do that? How do we love well when we're hurt, when we disagree, when we've been let down?

This Thursday at Oasis Centre (7 May), we're exploring what it really means to relate to others from a place of freedom. We'll talk about rights, responsibilities, judgment, and how to meet the needs of the people we care about, without losing ourselves in the process.

Real community starts with real love. And real love starts with understanding.
