Hi Everyone

It’s September!! Which means we can start having Fig gatherings once again…

I know some of you have wondered if we would continue in the Autumn, well the good news is we are but sometimes not as regular as twice a month just because of other commitments.

So below is a list of meeting dates for your diary which take into account our annual holiday and other things.

This autumn the Lord has laid in my heart the need for us to gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of what it means to live out His Kingdom on earth, topics such as how do we function as Priests and Kings and what does it look like to minister with authority will help us grow into the ‘greater’ Jesus promised in John 14 vs 12.

Should be exciting…

Hi Folks, we have another Fig gathering this Sunday at 3pm (see Zoom link below). This time we’re considering God’s House, Jesus says in John’s gospel ‘in my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you’ - this has led to the common misconception that we’ll all be living in mansions! Is that really the case or is God’s house a lot more complex than we think? We’ll find out Sunday, should be fun…

Hi Everyone, hope you're having a great day. Just to say there's no Fig gathering this Sunday (14th) as we have to be in Portree at a choir practice! Sorry about that, but we'll definitely be meeting the following Sunday without fail..

PRAISE GOD FOR PENTECOST! - We celebrate the giving of the Holy Spirit today, He who enables us to know Jesus and experience a deeper level of relationship, as well as touching and tasting the wonders of what the Holy Spirit brings in terms of fruit and power! Hi Everyone…

We have another Fig gathering this Sunday (see Zoom link below). This time we’re considering what it means to ‘be IN HIM and HE in us!’ We’ll be looking at John 15 and Jesus teaching on the vine, and also asking the question: ‘Does the indwelling of the Holy Spirit enable us to abide in Jesus?’ - an important question in these times when the Baptism of the Holy Spirit is side-lined and even ignored.

Should be faith stretching… - see you Sunday.

Hi Everyone, we were scheduled to have a FIG meeting this Sunday (5th), however as it’s Easter Sunday and many of you will be with your families I thought we’d postpone it to the 12th April. We do hope you have a lovely Easter celebration and discover anew the joy of the risen Jesus in your lives…
