Still Think the Trinity Means Three Gods? Let's Clear That Up
The Christian doctrine of the Trinity affirms that there is only one God, existing in three distinct persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Contrary to misconceptions of polytheism, Christians are monotheists, sharing a belief rooted in biblical teachings and echoed in other religious traditions like Judaism. While the concept of the Trinity may seem unique, historical parallels in Jewish and other ancient religious thought show that the idea of a singular God with various manifestations is not new. This article highlights how the Trinity reflects God’s unified yet relational nature in Christian faith.

Understanding the Trinity and Why Illustrations Fall Short
The Trinity is the Christian belief that God is one in essence but exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. While many analogies, like the shamrock or water, attempt to explain the Trinity, they often lead to misunderstandings like partialism or modalism. These fall short because God’s nature is infinitely complex and cannot be fully captured by finite illustrations. A better approach is recognising the relational and dynamic nature of the Trinity through metaphors like the divine dance, emphasising unity and distinctiveness.

Why Christian Education Needs Born-Again Teachers to Stand Out from the Secular Crowd
For Christian education to be truly different from secular education, it requires educators who are genuinely "born again." These educators bring a personal, transformative faith experience that shapes their teaching and helps integrate biblical truth across all subjects. Without them, Christian schools risk becoming just like their secular counterparts, lacking spiritual depth and impact. Born-again teachers are vital to fostering a vibrant, faith-filled environment that nurtures both the minds and hearts of students.

The 21st-Century Church: A Career, Not a Calling? In the 21st century, the church has increasingly begun to function like a business, employing pastors and staff under contracts to meet its objectives. Pastors, once seen as spiritual leaders with a divine calling, now often operate under financial pressure, treating ministry as a job due to the rising cost of living. Many are expected to fulfill a variety of roles beyond spiritual leadership, which stifles their creativity and forces them to conform to visions set by lay leaders or trends. This shift is not in line with biblical principles, which call for a church where every believer is empowered to serve. There is a need to return to a model that supports pastors in their unique callings and encourages all members to participate in ministry.

Deflating Spiritual Inflation
Instead of cultivating a congregation that’s “too blessed to be stressed,” perhaps it’s time to encourage a community that is “too grounded to be confounded”--a church that’s not afraid to look itself in the mirror and ask the hard questions: Are we chasing after God or after good optics? Are we hungry for righteousness or for recognition? Are we a body that’s thriving or just surviving on a diet of spiritual fast food. So, let’s cheerfully take out the pin and let the air out of the balloon of spiritual inflation. Let’s bring the congregation back to a place of sincere worship and faithful living. , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , .

Prince William ‘is reflecting a discomfort with Christianity in this country’
Christianity is shifting away from institutionalism towards a more personal, existential faith, as seen in recent discussions about Prince William's relationship with the Church of England. Traditional church practices are losing relevance, and many modern believers seek spiritual fulfilment through personal reflection, social action, and community engagement. The Church, particularly the Anglican Church, must adapt to these changes or risk becoming disconnected from a new generation of believers. Embracing inclusivity, compassion, and contemporary expressions of faith showing power is essential for aligning with Jesus Christ’s true message.

Guarding the Heart and Leadership: When “Church” Is Just a Word, Not a Reality Churches must be vigilant in selecting leaders who embody spiritual maturity, godly character, and a heart devoted to God, rather than those who are merely talented or successful by worldly standards. True leadership in a church should be grounded in Scripture, not in charisma or ambition. A genuine church is defined by its faithfulness to the Bible and commitment to Christ, ensuring that it does not become just a social club with a religious label. Protecting the heart of the church involves choosing leaders who are humble, devoted, and spiritually sound.

Worldly Wisdom vs. Godly Wisdom: When “Church” Becomes a Label, Not a Lifestyle
James 3:13-18 draws a sharp line between worldly wisdom, which is driven by selfish ambition and personal gain, and godly wisdom, which is pure, peaceable, and full of mercy. While some gatherings may call themselves "churches," they risk losing their true identity when they follow worldly influences instead of being guided by Scripture. A genuine church is defined not by its name or outward appearance, but by its commitment to biblical teaching and godly wisdom. It’s essential for churches to ground their practices in Scripture, seeking to reflect Christ rather than mimicking the world.

Hollywood Theology: When Feelings Take Centre Stage in Church
Hollywood Theology has crept into many churches, prioritising emotions and personal experiences over biblical truth. This feel-good approach often leads to a faith built on fleeting feelings rather than the solid foundation of Scripture. By elevating personal interpretations and emotional highs, the church risks losing its grounding in God’s Word, which must remain the ultimate guide. Biblical examples, like Jesus’ submission to God’s will in Gethsemane, remind us that truth often requires us to go beyond what feels good. It’s crucial for believers to anchor their faith in Scripture, ensuring a deeper, more authentic spiritual life that transcends emotionalism.

New Gender Clinics and Puberty Blocker Trials: A Biblical Perspective
Children are a precious gift from God and should be protected. The NHS plans to open six new gender clinics and start puberty blocker trials on children, posing serious risks to their health and development. The Cass Review has shown these drugs cause irreversible harm. We must demand Keir Starmer and Wes Streeting halt these plans immediately. Instead, the NHS should address the root causes of gender dysphoria. Let's protect our children and ensure their well-being.
