Hazrat Bilal Masjid/Centre - Bristol Welcome to the Hazrat Bilal Masjid/Centre's page. A purpose built hub for the Local Muslim community.

The Hazrat Bilal Masjid is the new site for one of Bristol's oldest Mosque (Est 1967) which was located in mid terrace house in Lower Cheltenham Place.. After 50 years the congregation which had grown in numbers finally moved to a purpose built building on 11th May 2017. The Congregation is of predominately of British/ Pakistani herita

ge following the Sunni Hanafi School of thought. This does not mean others are not welcome but are indeed warmly welcome to attend and do join daily congregation prayers. Daily after Schools classes are held to teach children about their faith and responsibilities about being good Muslim and good positive citizens in the communities they live in. Daily Adult classes are held to teach them about their faith and to correctly read the Quran with correct pronunciation. The weekly Jummah (Friday) prayer has an English language sermon, delivered by British born and raised Imam.
