Final Drop-In Listing Event — TODAY!

Over the past week, we’ve had the privilege of listening to voices from across the community — thank you to everyone who has already come along and shared.

Today is final Community Listening Event, and we would really love to hear from you if you haven’t yet had the chance.

This is still an open space — no finished plans, just a genuine desire to listen well and understand what matters most in this community.

- What’s needed locally?
- What’s already making a difference?
- Where are the gaps?
- What could this space become?

📍 Today between 7:00pm and 8:30pm
Totterdown Baptist Church (Jarman Hall entrance)

Whether you can stay for 5 minutes or fancy a longer nose around our warren of a building and stay for a cuppa, you are very welcome.

If you can’t make it, you can still share your thoughts via our short survey (https://tbc.org.uk/community-space).

Please share this post or tag someone who should be part of this conversation.
Your voice matters — and today is the last chance to be part of this first stage of listening.

A huge thanks to everyone who has completed the survey and popped into our Community Listening Events. The Community has clearly spoken and we are excited to announce plans for a new waterpark in Totterdown Baptist Church. We are excited and can't wait for the first baptism once the redevelopment is completed! 🏊💦

OK, now check the date... 😜

The truth is we have a wonderful old building that is vastly underutilised and far from fully accessible. We have ideas for how we can use and develop it for the benefit of the local community and we'd love to hear from you, to engage with our neighbours, to hear about local needs, hopes, and dreams. There is a survey and we are holding our 3rd community listening event this evening - which is a chance to drop-in, have a nose around our warren of a building, and share with us your thoughts. We'll be open from 7pm to 8:30pm today (1st April) so do pop in and say hello. 👋

We're looking forward to all that's happening over Holy Week & the Easter Weekend at tbc.

Why not come and join us as we explore the meaning behind the holiday and ask why the life, death and resurrection (yes, really!) of a Jewish Rabbi, 2,000 years ago, is not only relevant but completely transformative for us today.

We’re back today — and there’s still time to be part of the conversation.

Thank you to everyone who came along to our first Community Listening Event — it was a real privilege to hear your stories, ideas, and hopes for the area.

Today is another opportunity to take part.

This is still very much a listening space — no plans, no agenda beyond wanting to understand what matters most to this community.

Whether you couldn’t make the first session, or you’ve been thinking about coming along, you would be so welcome.

💬 What do you love about this area?
💬 What could be better?
💬 What’s missing?
💬 How could this space serve the community well?

📍 Today | 10:00am
Totterdown Baptist Church (Jarman Hall entrance)

Feel free to drop in, stay for a few minutes or longer — whatever works for you.

👉 Please share or tag someone who might want to come along.

We’re listening — and your voice matters.
