Dear All
This is just an update on how Fr Matt is doing in Peru

Fr Matt has been serving in Perú for over ten months with the Missionary Society of St James the Apostle.
In February, Fr Matt became the Parish Priest of the parish of Our Lady of Guadalupe in the district of Carabayllo in the north-east of Lima.
He shares with us now an article he recently wrote for the Missionary Society and adds these words as a

Bishop Bosco has asked for us all this Sunday to reflect on the role of the service of the Permanent Deacon and is inviting any men to consider the diaconate.

Tomorrow we pray in particular for our Deacons Mark, Lester and James and for more vocations to the permanent diaconate.

Encounter 2026 launches this Tuesday with a talk from a founder member of our parishes Youth Group- Ignite.
