Join our community here http://www.facebook.com/groups/christchurchdownend/. A lovely family Church for all ages. Young and old, families and those on their own, everyone is welcome. Since the covid outbreak we have had to alter our service patterns slightly as well as learning new ways of being church. Every Sunday at 10.30am we have a service at Christ Church that is also available to live strea

m (or catchup on) on our YouTube channel. At 9.15am at our Church centre on Quaker's Rd we hold services on the 2nd and 4th Sundays each month. In addition to this our families at 4 service happens each week, but alternates between live and in church. For all of our live services we have to book places so that we don't exceed our limit so please message us to let us know you are coming! If you just turn up we should have space but we can't guarantee it sadly.

Come to an exhibition of paintings on Wed 3 June 6-8pm. Maryna is an artist from Ukraine. She left her homeland when the war began, as her city was under Rususian control. She took up painting when she came to Bristol, encouraged by vicar Beverley Charles in Kingswood. Since moving to Staple Hill, she has developed her distinctive style, full of bright colours "becasue there is so much grey in the world," say Maryna. Profits from the paintings will go to children in Kumi, Uganda, via Mission Direct mission partners Jan and Richard Bacon, members of Christ Church.
