Nativity of the Mother of God Orthodox Church - EP - Bristol

Nativity of the Mother of God Orthodox Church - EP - Bristol Oecumenical Patriarchate, Archdiocese of Thyateira and Great Britain. We are a multiethnic Orthodox Christian community in the heart of Bristol. on Saturdays.

We worship in English. Divine Liturgy Sundays 10:30, Vespers Saturdays 17:30, Confession before services. MORE ABOUT US

Our community was founded in 1948 by expatriate Polish Orthodox families. Since 1968 we have worshipped in our own building, the interior of which you can see in our profile picture. Over the years we have grown into a substantial community with members from a number of national

backgrounds, including a growing number from Britain, but without representing any one in particular. We are a parish within the Patriarchate of Constantinople. We predominantly use English in our services, all of which, following the ancient tradition of the Church, are sung. Our services are open to all and as well as offering a welcome to Orthodox Christians in the city and district, we welcome anyone who wants to experience our worship, or just to come and see. You will find a full list of services and a calendar on our website, but our regular services consist of the Divine Liturgy (the Eucharist) at 10.30 a.m. on Sundays, and Vespers at 5.30 p.m.
