Since 2017 St Mary's Stoke Bishop has been part of the Avonside Mission Area (ASMA), together with St Andrews Avonmouth, St Edyths Sea Mills, St Peters Lawrence Weston, and St Marys Shirehampton.

We love upholding each other in prayer, building one another up in Christ and celebrating what is going on in the Avonside Mission area. As it happens, there are lots of exciting things going on in ASMA churches this summer, swipe through to get involved!

Thank you to everyone who came and took part in the community prayer vigil service this evening. We continue to pray for the injured seafarer and his family and for peace in our community 🙏

We have been deeply saddened by the news of the racist attack that took place in Avonmouth village on Friday night - this is not representative of the loving people of Avonmouth that we know.

We are planning a prayer vigil in St Andrew’s Church, Avonmouth, this Wednesday 5.30-6.30pm to show support for those affected by the attack, to pray and/or light a candle and pray for our community.

Come for all or some of the time. All are welcome, of all faiths or none 🙏

We’d love to see you at Messy Church, 10.30am this morning at St Peter’s Church for fun, games, snacks, crafts & a treasure hunt as we think of Jesus feeding 5000 people with a picnic!
