Day of Zen Practice to Commemorate the 38th Anniversary of the death of Master Deshimaru
Sunday May 3rd
This day of practice is taking place throughout Europe, at temples and in individual’s homes. In the UK, we are broadcasting the sits and ceremonies over MixLr, with each sit led by a different senior UK practitioner.

The times are as follows:
06h30 - 08h00 : zazen/kin hin/zazen
08h00 - 08h30: morning ceremony : Hannya shingyo, lineage of the patriarchs up to Master Keizan, eko and Ji ho san shi
Led by Peter Ji Shu Moorhouse, North Wales.
9h30 - 11h00 : zazen/kin hin/zazen
11h00: ceremony in memory of Master Deshimaru: Daihi shin darani, incense offering, special eko for Sensei, Ji ho san shi - the special eko will be put online on the AZI website.
Led by Chris Sei Ho Preist, Bristol.
02h30 - 04h00: zazen/kin hin/zazen: end of day dedication, fueko, Ji ho san shi.
Led by Maddie E Shin Parisio, Norfolk.

The Ekos will be chanted alone by the doshi (lead of each sit).
We may chant the 4 vows in the final sit.
