Naqshbandia Aslamia Bristol were deeply honoured to meet Shaykh Syed Muhammad bin Yahya Al-Ninowy today. It was a blessed and memorable occasion.

Syed Waheed Shah and Shaykh Syed Muhammad Al-Ninowy shared a private and meaningful conversation regarding the Manhaj of the Ahlul Bayt, emphasising that true love for the Beloved Prophet ﷺ and his noble family is the key to success in both this life and the hereafter. Their words served as a powerful reminder of the centrality of love, adab, and اتباع in our دين.

Both esteemed shaykhs are Hussaini Syeds, tracing their noble lineage back to Sayyiduna Imam Hussain (رضي الله عنه), and this meeting reflected a special spiritual bond rooted in that blessed heritage a connection of hearts united in the love of the Ahlul Bayt and the خدمة of the Ummah.

Shaykh Syed Muhammad Al-Ninowy is widely recognised as a distinguished scholar, spiritual guide, and descendant of the Prophetic household. Known for his dedication to reviving traditional Sunni scholarship and he continues to inspire communities around the world through his teachings and gatherings.

May Allah ﷻ preserve our mashayikh, strengthen these blessed connections, and keep us firm upon the love of the Prophet ﷺ and his noble family. Ameen.

With a heavy heart, we hear the sad news of the passing of Sufi Ali Shan Naqshbandi. He was a truly kind and humble soul. His character reflected sincerity, patience, and deep love for others, and he will always be remembered for his gentle nature and good deeds.

May Allah forgive his shortcomings, grant him the highest مقام in Jannah, and fill his grave with light and peace.

May Allah grant sabr to his family and loved ones during this difficult time. Ameen.

Eid al-Fitr Announcement

29 days of Ramadān will be completed on Thursday 19th March.
Therefore, we will look for the moon on Thursday 19th March and await credible moonsighting reports, in shā Allāh.

There is a small possibility that across the numerous sighting locations the moon may be sighted on Thursday evening, and therefore Eid may be on Friday.

However, it is more likely that Eid will be on Saturday.

Please wait for the official announcement, which is likely after 8:00pm on Thursday
