🌹 HAJI ASLAM FAYZOO ATTARI — TWO BEAUTIFUL DAYS OF ISLAMIC ACTIVITIES IN SOUTHWEST UK 🌹
Alhamdulillah, we had the honour and privilege of welcoming Haji Aslam Fayzoo Attari, Head of Dawat-e-Islami in South Africa, to Bristol for two incredibly inspiring days.
It was truly a blessing to spend time in the company of this remarkable individual — a diamond polished under the spiritual guidance of Ameer-e-Ahl-e-Sunnat, Maulana Ilyas Qadri.
A retired Police Officer who has dedicated his life to the service of Islam, Haji Aslam has carried out religious work across 54 countries in the Southern Africa region. Through his speeches, individual efforts and tireless invitation towards righteousness, thousands of people have transformed their lives, and many non-Muslims have embraced Islam through his efforts. ما شاء اللہ
During his two-day stay in Bristol, Alhamdulillah, every opportunity was utilised for the service of Deen.
We began with a session at Easton Jamia Masjid, one of the prominent mosques in our community, where many elderly brothers participated as part of their regular MACSAD programme. Haji Aslam delivered a short but powerful talk on “The Messengers of Death.” Brothers from African and Bangladeshi communities also participated.
Special thanks to the Masjid Chairman, Councillor Abdul Rauf, and respected Imam Hafiz Altaf Sahib for warmly giving us this opportunity.
In the evening, a beautiful Mawlid-un-Nabi ﷺ gathering took place at the home of Haji Malik Matloob Hussain Sahib. MashaAllah, Haji Sahib and his family regularly participate in and support the religious activities of Dawat-e-Islami. May Allah Almighty accept their efforts and grant them immense blessings.
The following morning, Haji Aslam spent valuable time with the children of our Madrassa. He delivered a short and engaging talk which the children thoroughly enjoyed.
Afterwards, together with one of our active community members, Arif Khan Sahib, we went into the Upper Easton area for individual efforts and inviting people towards righteousness, particularly reaching out to Somali and other African communities and inviting them to our weekly Ijtima. Alhamdulillah, we received a very positive response, and some of the brothers we met even attended our gathering later that day.
We then offered Zuhr Salah at Bristol Jamia Masjid, Totterdown, where Haji Sahib met the Imam and members of the local community.
From there, a special session was arranged at the home of Uncle Zahid Butt Sahib, where Haji Aslam personally invited the brothers to attend the upcoming UK-Level Ijtima and encouraged them to become actively involved in the local religious activities of Dawat-e-Islami.
The two-day visit concluded with a beautiful Family Ijtima at Faizan-e-Madinah Bristol, attended by hundreds of brothers, sisters and children. Haji Aslam delivered a heartfelt and much-needed speech on the importance, rights and respect of parents.
Following the gathering and meal, Haji Sahib departed for Bradford to continue his journey of serving Islam and spreading the call towards righteousness.

In just two days, Haji Aslam Fayzoo Attari gave us so much of his time, experience, wisdom and energy. His passion for the work of Deen renewed our own enthusiasm and strengthened our determination to serve Islam and spread the beautiful message of Dawat-e-Islami far and wide.
May Allah Almighty accept every moment of his efforts, grant him strength and steadfastness in the service of Deen, place immense Barakah in his life and family, and allow us all to continue serving His religion with sincerity until our final breath.
