🚰 Help Us Provide Sealed Bottled Water to Those in Need ☀️

As the heat rises, staying hydrated becomes a challenge — especially for people experiencing homelessness. At St. Nicholas Bread Food Bank, we’re hoping to offer sealed, still bottled water to those we serve.

We're kindly asking for donations of:
💧 Small bottled water (individual servings)
💧 Large 5L sealed still water bottles

If you’re able to donate, whether a few bottles or a full pack, it will make a big difference. Please drop them off during our regular hours or message us to coordinate.

Let’s come together to offer comfort, care, and dignity during these hot days. 💛

*The letter, a call to care for our common home: A Laudato Si Retreat. Saturday March 8th, 1:00 to 5:00 pm*

Saint Nicholas of Tolentino Church Hall

Join us for an afternoon retreat on Laudato Si. We will meditate with St Francis’ Canticle of the creatures. We will explore the current environmental crisis through the film “The Letter” where Pope Francis invites us to listen to the voices of those most affected by the current environmental crisis. From Senegal, the Amazon, India and Hawaii, four environmental leaders bring the perspective and solutions from the poor, the Indigenous, the youth, and wildlife.

This retreat is an opportunity to walk into ecological conversion as part of our lent journey, following CAFOD's invitation to live simply.

🙏 Prayers for Pope Francis 🙏

With heavy hearts, we lift our prayers for Pope Francis, whose health is in a critical condition. As a shepherd of peace, love, and compassion, he has touched the lives of millions, guiding the Church with wisdom and humility.

May God grant him strength, comfort, and healing in this time of need. We pray that he feels the love and support of the faithful around the world, and that he finds peace in the arms of our Lord.

"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside still waters; He restores my soul." – Psalm 23:1-3

Let us keep Pope Francis in our thoughts and prayers, asking for God’s grace to be upon him.

🙏 Holy Father, we are with you in prayer. 🙏
