FROM GLORY TO GLORY — LAUNCH DAY

Tomorrow we begin our 21 Days of Fasting & Prayer.

But transformation starts before the fast begins.

It starts with a decision.

A decision to seek God.
A decision to quiet distractions.
A decision to surrender old patterns.
A decision to allow God to renew the way we think.

Today’s message reminded us of a powerful truth:

“Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” Romans 12:2

Real transformation is not just about changing behaviour. It begins on the inside. God wants to renew our thinking, confront the lies we have believed, and align our minds with His truth.

So today, before we begin fasting tomorrow, take some time to prepare.

Ask yourself:

What am I believing God to transform in me during these 21 days?

What thought pattern needs to change?
What distraction needs to lose its grip?
What area of your life needs fresh surrender?

Tomorrow, 7 September, we begin together.

Not just 21 days of giving something up.

21 days of seeking God, renewing our minds, and allowing Him to transform us from the inside out.

How many people live on the same street where your Life Group meets and are silently fighting battles with anxiety, loneliness, fear or hopelessness?

As we begin our Fasting & Prayer Campaign, here is a challenge:

Don’t only pray for your neighbourhood — go and love your neighbourhood.

Your Life Group doesn’t have to stay within four walls while someone a few doors away may desperately need hope, kindness or simply to know that somebody cares.

Here are 4 simple actions you can do together this week:

🎈 1. A Balloon of Hope
Leave a balloon with a simple message: “You are not alone. Your life matters.”

💌 2. A Note of Care
Leave a short, encouraging message at a neighbour’s door. No invitation. No pressure. Just kindness.

🧁 3. Something Sweet
Prepare some cake, biscuits or another small treat. Go out in pairs, knock on a few doors and simply say:
“We’re your neighbours and we wanted to bring you something to brighten your week.”

💛 4. A Line of Hope
Put up a line with messages of hope outside the home where your Life Group meets. Let anyone passing by take the message they need.

The seed is planted through love, not pressure.

You don’t need to convince anyone.
You don’t need to preach at someone’s door.
Care. Serve. Be available. And when someone opens their heart, listen and pray.

During our fasting campaign, choose the streets around your Life Group. Pray for them by name. Walk them. Notice people. Ask the Holy Spirit to show you where you can bring hope.

We’re honoured to welcome our Senior Pastor, Pr Antonio Fernandes, to The Vine Church Bristol!

Pr Antonio is a church planter, author and Senior Pastor of The Vine Church Swindon, overseeing Vine churches across the UK, the Philippines, South Korea and Tokyo.

His ministry carries a strong prophetic emphasis, and we’re expectant for what God is going to speak and do among us this Sunday.
