Hope everyone is enjoying their bank holiday weekend.

Rather than a standard Sunday service, some of our congregation spent their morning showing God’s love in practical ways, by volunteering with various maintenance tasks at Frenchay Village Hall.

Members weeded the flower borders and finished weeding and barking the vegetable garden. Feel free to pop bye and help yourself to anything that is ripe for picking.

The team also swept and cleared the car park of rotting leaves and fallen branches, cleared the rear roof gutters, fitted fire door handles and cleaned the kitchen/fridge.

As a final job they completed applying the window graphics to the new entrance which are silhouettes of various properties around Frenchay.

Thanks to all involved. Enjoy the rest of the long weekend.

Serving our community and showing God’s love is at the heart of who we are. This weekend 4 of our members worked hard at Frenchay Village Hall installing a new window and painting the committee room and rear stairwell. The new window means there is now natural light to the stairs and the fresh paint brings this area a new bright feel. Well done team.

Fabulous weekend taking part in Bristol Noise and serving the community in practical ways. As well as tidying gardens as part of the wider city, we also spent Sunday at Frenchay Village Hall clearing gutters, staining fences, clearing an abandoned vegetable plot, relocating raised beds to make space for a cycle shelter and weeding and replanting the flower borders. And then on Monday we helped out our friends at Waterbrook Church with their community bbq and fun day where 100’s of people got free food, faces painted and enjoyed the sun.

This evening we are meeting at Frenchay Village Hall for a night of worship where we aim to encounter God. This is an unscripted evening with no fixed agenda and we are excited to go wherever the Holy Spirit leads us.

Everyone and anyone is welcome to join with us.

The doors open at 6:30pm and we will start at 7pm.
