Zion United Church we are a local church with a desire to serve others. our background is Methodist and United Reformed Church. As such we are blessed to be a blessing!

We believe to know Jesus is a great blessing, however that blessing is meant to be shared. We are a church of Jesus Christ, and so we are committed to:

Beloved Pastor, husband and father Robert Guanco died this past weekend at a Christian festival when a sign fell on him.

Six other people were injured and many attendees, musicians and friends connected with the festival are devastated. In the midst of grief and all the needs for practical and prayerful support many of us in the wider church community and beyond are left with questions about God.

When my Godson FinKennedy ✞ messaged me to ask for help in thinking through how God could let this happen at a Christian event and other related questions his friends are asking, I wrote to him.

The United Reformed Church is deeply saddened by the death of Professor Jason Arday, who was found unresponsive at an address in London yesterday.
The Revd Neil Thorogood, Moderator of the URC General Assembly, says: “Congregations across the URC will be holding the family and friends of Jason Arday in our hearts and prayers ... His all too brief life was an inspiration in so many ways, even as recent events begged so many questions and leave so much to face now."
