Dear Antioch - wonderful news! We are finally able to spend time together once again and we will be hosting a lent series at St Pauls every Sunday evening between Sunday 6th March and Sunday 10th April. We are able to meet in the main church 6-7pm for a time of contemplation which will be led by Charlie. We can offer hot drinks but wrap up warm too! Please feel free to message us for more information - we are really looking forward to seeing you. This series is being run by the Antioch Community but everyone is welcome - from any faith or none - so please feel free to invite anyone that you think would like to join us in stillness, community and contemplation.

Starting on 26th November we will be journeying through Advent using the Pray As You Go Advent retreat. God is with us, giving light to those who dwell in darkness, guiding our feet into the way of peace.

Daily prayer whenever you need it. Ignatian inspiration, Jesuit Prayer on the go

Your wind blows, enlivening us.
~ animate our hearts ~
Your Spirit, as a breeze, refreshing us.
~ life flow into our veins ~
And we, the loved, move.
~ awaken us Almighty God ~
Like tender branches, we flex.
~ help us be responsive to you ~
Yet grounded. Roots planted.
~ secure us to you ~
Sweeping away dried leaves
~ a new season upon us ~
What is no longer required
~ released to your care ~
And let our lives find renewed meaning as your Spirit wind blows..

A change in season is a good time to reflect on the last one. What has brought you joy and encouragement? What has sustained you spiritually, emotionally or physically? Is there anything you feel has served its purpose and can now be let go of? Is there anything to carry forward or begin to set in place for the next season of growth?

The next gathering for Antioch Community will be an online Zoom retreat on Sunday 18th October. It will be a time to reflect on the season and pray then enter into a time of meditativeness activity for half an hour in our own homes (or wherever you are). This could be to read, do something creative, plant bulbs in the garden or anything you wish to do as you dedicate this time to God. We will then re-gather to reflect again and give thanks for God's provision. All welcome - PM for more info if you would like to join us!

After a long pause we are gathering again at St Paul's Church this Sunday for a time of reflection and prayer. Health and safety requires us to sit and be still. Carry on as usual then?

This Sunday 16th August we will be opening the church building for a time of reflection and prayer. The space will be appropriately designed to maintain social distancing and masks must be worn at all times. There will be music, images and space to contemplate how we are going to restore and recover our lives as community in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. It would be lovely to see you there... all are welcome .... drop in any time between 6-8pm.
