Above every other name, every fear, every circumstance, every ambition — Jesus.

May His name be the one we carry, the one we sing, the one we build our lives around. In every season, in every room, in every moment, may everything point back to Him.

Jesus, be the name we proclaim.
Be the centre of our worship.
Be the glory of Your Church.
Be lifted high in Bristol and across this nation.

There is no one like You, Jesus. 🤍

What is it like to come to Open House?

It’s people from all walks of life gathering around Jesus.
It’s worship, the Word, prayer, conversation, laughter, children, coffee, questions, friendship and making room for one another.

You don’t need to have it all figured out.
You don’t need to know the songs.
You don’t need to know anyone before you come.

Just come as you are.

We’re a church family learning together what it means to follow Jesus, love His presence, grow in faith and make room for others to belong.

We know a Man. His name is Jesus — and everything He touches comes alive.

Come alive in His presence.
Come alive in His house, His home, His family.

He releases springs of living water in the wastelands.
He sends winds of refreshing.
A new wind of hope is blowing.

Come, everyone who is thirsty — come and drink.
Come, taste and see that the Lord is good.

He is waking us to life once again —
to His beauty,
to His presence,
to His purposes.

Jesus is breathing life into dry places.
Come alive.

We have all found ourselves on the perceived outside at some point — the newbie, the stranger, the one wondering if there’s room for us.

Christian hospitality welcomes the stranger. It embraces, makes room, and creates space for others to belong.

Once, someone welcomed us. Someone noticed us. Someone made room for us.

Now it’s our turn to do the same for someone else.

May we be a church that keeps making room — where strangers become friends, newcomers become family, and everyone knows there is a place for them here. 🤍

We love seeing Open House becoming more visible in the heart of the city. A simple sign, but a beautiful reminder of who we want to be — an open house, with an open door, for anyone who wants to come in.

The Father is always watching for His children to come home. 🤍

The story of the prodigal son reminds us that no matter how far we’ve wandered, the Father’s arms are open, His grace is abundant, and there is always a place at His table.

We don’t come home to condemnation — we come home to a Father who runs to meet us. 🏃‍♂️✨

A thriving multi-generational church in the heart of the city, sending out followers of Jesus, on fire and equipped for service. 🔥

This is the heartbeat of Open House.

We want to be a church that knows God, makes Him known and creates a place where people can truly belong. A people rooted in His presence, formed by His Word and Spirit, and equipped to carry the good news of Jesus into our city and beyond.

This is what we’re building. This is what we’re praying for. This is what we’re contending for.

A thriving church. A sent people. A city transformed by Jesus. ❤️
