Because of Jesus Christ and His Atonement, He understands our pain perfectly. He knows our struggles, our weaknesses, and our deepest sorrows, and He is there for us.

When we turn to Him and ask, He can give us strength to endure, healing for our hearts, and peace along the way.

Whatever you are carrying today, remember, Jesus Christ is there for you!🤍

WHY DO WE HAVE LIVING PROPHETS?

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is led by living prophets- inspired men called to speak for the Lord, as did Moses, Isaiah, Peter, Paul, Nephi, Mormon, and other prophets of the scriptures.

Like the prophets of old, prophets today testify of Jesus Christ and teach His gospel. They make known God’s will and true character. They speak boldly and clearly, denouncing sin and warning of its consequences. At times, they may be inspired to prophesy of future events for our benefit.

Today, Dallin H. Oaks serves as the President and Prophet, Seer, and Revelator of the Church. He is the only person on earth authorized to receive revelation for the entire Church.

We can always trust the living prophets. Their teachings reflect the will of the Lord, who declared: “What I the Lord have spoken, I have spoken, and I excuse not myself; and though the heavens and the earth pass away, my word shall not pass away, but shall all be fulfilled, whether by mine own voice or by the voice of my servants, it is the same.” (Doctrine and Covenants 1:38)

This month, we’re exploring modern-day prophets- who they are, why their authority matters, and how their teachings can help us come closer to Jesus Christ!!

Our Heavenly Father knows and LOVES each of His children perfectly!! He has given every one of us unique gifts, talents, experiences, and opportunities- not by accident, but so that we can bless the lives of others!

You may sometimes wonder, “What do I have to offer?”
But God sees something in you that you may not yet see in yourself. ❤️

Jesus Christ offers a peace that can calm our hearts and strengthen us through life’s challenges. As we turn to Him, He can also help us recognize the spiritual gifts He has given us.

Those gifts aren’t just for us. They are opportunities to lift, serve, encourage, and bring light to the people around us. A kind word, a listening ear, a helping hand, or a simple act of love may be the very thing someone needs to feel Christ’s peace!

What spiritual gift has God given you that you can use to bless someone today?

Jesus Christ is the perfect example of love, compassion, and mercy. Throughout His ministry, He healed the sick, comforted the brokenhearted, taught eternal truths, and lifted those who felt lost or burdened.

What a comforting and powerful truth! His grace is sufficient for us. We don’t have to carry our burdens alone, and we don’t have to become perfect on our own. Christ invites each of us to come unto Him and trust in His grace.

Whatever you are carrying today, come unto Christ. His grace is sufficient. His love is sufficient. And through Him, we can be made whole!

“God endows His children with many spiritual gifts… The Lord invites us to earnestly seek the best gifts… He gives spiritual gifts to bless us and to use in blessing others.” - Gary E. Stevenson

God has given each of us unique gifts, talents, and strengths, and when we share them with others, we can help each other become more like Christ. ❤️

Elder Sutherland and Elder Williams share the God-given gifts they see in each other and the ways those gifts have strengthened their companionship! We’re all different by divine design, and there is so much power in lifting, learning from, and loving one another.
