A JOYFUL WELCOME TO REVD DR PETER MASVOTORE & JULIET! 🌟

What a wonderful evening of worship, celebration and fellowship at St Peter’s Methodist Church on Tuesday 1 September, as we welcomed Revd Dr Peter Masvotore and his wife, Juliet, into the Bristol & South Gloucestershire Circuit. 🙏❤️

From the warm welcome by Revd Patrick Stonehewer, Acting Superintendent, to the powerful and challenging message from Revd Dr Marcus Torchon, Chair of the Bristol District, the evening reminded us of God’s faithfulness, our calling to serve, and the importance of welcoming one another with love and openness.

Marcus reminded us that God is faithful in every season and that, as a church, we are called not only to receive those whom God sends among us, but to welcome, support and journey with them in ministry. Our welcome is more than words- it is an expression of God’s love and a commitment to walk together in faith and service. ✨

💬 Messages of welcome and encouragement were shared by the four churches where Revd Masvotore will serve:

The Circuit Stewards also shared a heartfelt welcome, assuring Peter and Juliet of the Circuit’s love, prayers and support as they begin this new chapter.

🎶 The Zimbabwe Fellowship led part of the service with joyful and uplifting worship, creating a beautiful atmosphere of unity and celebration- truly a foretaste of heaven’s harmony!

We pray that God will continue to bless Peter and Juliet with grace, wisdom, strength and joy, and that their ministry will bear abundant fruit across our churches and communities.

Last Saturday, 22 August, our Men’s Christian Union (MCU) joined brothers from across the Southwest at the MCU BBQ & Fellowship in Slough. The hymn in this video is one of the beautiful outcomes of that gathering -a reminder of what happens when men come together in worship, unity, and purpose. Truly, the Mission of God is unstoppable.

We give thanks for a beautiful service on Sunday 16th August as we welcomed those joining the Fellowship. Led by Revd C. Kadzere, we reflected on Daniel 1:1–21 and Hebrews 10:23–25-a powerful reminder to stand firm in faith, remain rooted in God’s Word, and strengthen one another in community

We celebrate every new member of the Bristol MCZF‑UK family. May we all together grow and flourish in Christ.

We had a blessed Sunday worship service today led by Mr Tafadzwa Mugadza, who preached on the theme:

“Kana Zvataurwa naMwari / When God Speaks”

📖 Genesis 24:50–51

We were reminded that when God speaks, His word is true, unchanging, and will surely come to pass. No one can reverse what God has spoken and blessed.
