We are so excited to welcome Flamy Grant in concert at Saint Stephenโ€™s as part of her UK tour, and the only place to see her in the SW of England!

https://www.trybooking.com/uk/events/landing/117443

Flamy Grant is a trailblazing drag queen and musician from Asheville, North Carolina with over 1.5 million streams on digital music platforms. Snatching trophies for both songwriting and stage, this powerhouse performer beautifully blends her Appalachian roots, drag artistry, and musical excellence to deliver a fearless and flamboyant show like no other.

Flamy made drag history in 2023 when her debut album Bible Belt Baby reached #1 on the iTunes Christian music charts, earning her headlines in Rolling Stone, Entertainment Weekly, Billboard, People, and more. Too big for just one genre, Flamy snatched a 2026 International Folk Music Award nomination for Best Album for her sophomore record CHURCH โ€” which also hit #8 on the iTunes Country charts.

**Peopleโ€™s Emergency Briefing screening**
**Thursday 9th July 7.30pm**

The UK faces a growing climate and nature emergency. Yet most people have never been fully briefed on what it means for our lives, our economy and our future.

This new film from the National Emergency Briefing sets out the risks facing the nation - and the credible, positive responses available - in a clear and accessible account designed for screenings in communities across the UK.

The film presents the national implications of climate and nature breakdown alongside credible, hopeful responses. It combines expert contributions with real audience reactions, helping viewers not only understand the scale of the crisis, but also begin conversations about how to respond together.

The aim is simple but significant: to help create a tipping point towards the urgent, collective response that is now needed.

Bristol Harbourside Churches and HCCA -Community Association for Hotwells, Cliftonwood and Spike Island are joining together to host a local viewing.

Location: Holy Trinity Church, Hotwells
Date: Thursday 9th July
Time: 7:30pm-9pm.

Refreshments will be available in the church hall.

Tickets are free but spaces are limited, so please do book in advance so you are not disappointed!

A reminder that we're gathering at Saint Stephen's on Thursday at 7 to pray for a positive, affirming Christian presence at next month's Bristol Pride. Come along to connect with other LGBTQI+ folks and allies from churches across Bristol ๐Ÿณ๏ธโ€๐ŸŒˆ๐Ÿณ๏ธโ€โšง๏ธ everyone is welcome!

Christians have been gathering once a month and praying for pride all year at our monthly meetings.
Next Thursday (18th), at 7pm at St Stephenโ€™s City church, weโ€™ll do it once more at โ€œpraying for prideโ€

Remember, whatever else you hear, thereโ€™s plenty of q***r Christianโ€™s, affirming straight Christianโ€™s, and inclusive churchโ€™s.
Just because some people donโ€™t like it doesnโ€™t make it not true.

All Saints Corn Street is less than a hundred metres from Saint Stephen's and shares many of our connections with Bristol's maritime history. You're invited to be part of the conversation about how the future of All Saints honours that history, and the people whose lives are still impacted by it today.

In February, the Diocese announced that the first stage of a public consultation exploring the future of All Saints Church on Corn Street, believed to be the burial place of Edward Colston, had been completed. We are now able to share full details of the next phase, including how you can take part.
