🌙 The best 10 days of the year are here!
The new moon of Dhul Hijjah 1446 has been sighted in Saudi Arabia; the blessed month of Dhul Hijjah starts from Maghrib tonight.
Ibn 'Abbās (may Allāh Be Pleased with him and his father) reported that Rasūlullāh ﷺ said: "There are no days in which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allāh than these ten days." (Bukhāri, 2/457)
Strive to do as many good deeds as you can throughout these blessed 10 days and seek the reward from Allāh ﷻ:
⭐It is Sunnah to fast the first 9 days of Dhul Hijjah:
It was narrated from Hunaydah ibn Khalid from his wife, that one of the wives of Rasūlullāh ﷺ said: The Prophet ﷺ used to fast on the first nine days of Dhul-Hijjah and the day of ‘Ashura, and three days each month, the first Monday of the month and two Thursdays. (al-Nasai, 4/205; Sahih (al-Albāni)).
⭐ Increase in dhikr - keep your tongues moist and hearts soft with Tasbih ("SubhānAllāh"), Tahmīd ("Alhamdulillāh") and Takbīr ("Allāhu Akbar")
‘Abdullāh ibn ‘Umar (may Allāh Be Pleased with him and his father) reported that Rasūlullāh ﷺ said: "There are no days greater in the sight of Allāh and in which righteous deeds are more beloved to Him than these ten days, so during this time recite a great deal of Tahlīl ("Lā ilāha illAllāh"), Takbīr and Tahmīd." (Ahmad, 7/224; Sahih (Ahmad Shakir).
⭐ Sincerely repent to Allāh ﷻ and beg Him for His Forgiveness:
Ā'isha (may Allah Be Pleased with her) reported: Rasūlullāh ﷺ said, “There is no day upon which Allāh Frees more of His servants from the Hellfire than the day of Arafat. He Draws near and then He Boasts of them to the angels, Saying: What do these servants want?" (Muslim 1348)
