Thursday Fellowship
Thursday Fellowship is a relaxed, devotional meeting for adults of all ages. We have a variety of interesting speakers, and finish with a cup of tea and a chat. Say Aphasia
The Say Aphasia Charity provides supportive drop in groups and it is run by people with aphasia for people with aphasia. Aphasia is not a well known condition and so people with aphasia can feel alone. Our aim is to provide continuous support in a social environment with like minded people, who are experiencing similar life changes. Say Aphasia meet in the Parish Hall at The Holy Cross Church between 11am and 1pm every 4 weeks on a Thursday. The dates for 2023 are 20th July, 17th August, 14th September, 12th October, 9th November, 7th December.

Memory Matters Monthly Drop-In
Second Monday each month, 1.30-3pm. Offering a positive, safe and friendly space with a listening ear for those:
who themselves have Dementia (accompanied by a friend/carer)
who are living with someone with Dementia
who have a loved one who has Dementia
who have had a loved one who has died who had Dementia
With Music for Connection offering an interactive music session to those who are experiencing memory challenges. They bring a range of instruments and provide a safe musical space for connection.
