Our Annual Flower Festival is back – and this year the theme is “The High Street”! 🌺💐 Expect amazing floral displays, plenty to spot and something to enjoy for all ages.

You’re warmly invited to the Annual Flower Festival at St Oswald’s Church, Flamborough.

This year’s inspiring theme is “On This Day”, with beautiful floral displays throughout the church, each telling a story and bringing special moments to life through flowers.

🎉 Join us in celebrating our Benefice 10th Anniversary with a special Pilgrimage! 🎉
Whether you want to walk the coastal paths, join us for a short service, or simply share a piece of birthday cake, we would love for you to be part of this special day.
Here is everything you need to know to plan your day:
🚶‍♂️ The Journey & Services (Join in at any point!)
8:30 AM – Pilgrimage starts with short services at Sewerby and Reighton (approx. 7-mile walks from these starting points).
9:30 AM – Short services at Flamborough and Speeton.
12:30 PM – BYO Lunch at Bempton.
1:30 PM – Communion Service at St Michael’s Church, Bempton, followed by celebratory Birthday Cake! 🎂
(Please note: There will be no other services held in the Benefice on this day).
📝 Important Details
Sign Up: Please sign up on the sheets at the back of any of our churches. Please add your name even if you only plan to attend a single service at one church.
Bring a Shell: If you are attending the Communion Service at Bempton, please bring a shell with you. 🐚
Transport: Return transport to your starting point will be available for those who sign up in advance.
Facilities: Toilets are available at Flamborough, Speeton, and Bempton.
Safety: Each person is responsible for their own safety on the cliff paths. Children must be accompanied by an adult, and dogs must be kept on leads. 🐾
