SPECIAL CHURCH COUNCIL MEETING
After the morning service on June 7th there will be a short meeting during coffee to update members on the roof repairs, windows and the organ restoration project.
All Church Council are asked to attend but everyone is welcome.
MISSION AREA SERVICE - LUNCH
Lunch will be served following Leslie Newton’s last service as District Chairman at Sewerby Methodist Church on Sunday 21st June.
Please add your name to the list in the hall if you are able to join us at this event by no later than Sunday June 14th.
TOMBOLA APPEAL
With the Summer Fair fast approaching we are appealing to anyone who is able to donate prizes for this year’s tombola stall. Please hand any donations to Andy Wilson in advance of the fair which is being held on Saturday 27th June. Thank you.
PROPERTY FOR RENT
There will shortly be a vacancy at ‘High Peak’ on Lime Kiln Lane. It is a one bedroomed flat on the first floor (with wonderful sea views).
Before letting the flat, it is anticipated that the bath will be removed and a modern shower installed. The flat will also be redecorated and carpeted throughout. Interested parties please contact the Revd John Fisher in the first instance on 01262 851785 or 07817885163 (mobile).
MISSION AREA MEETING
You are warmly invited to a meeting on Monday 8th June (10.30am) at Sewerby Methodist Church to discuss the mission in our area. We will have updates on finance and the sale of churches as well as looking forward to new initiatives developed by Jaz. Everyone is welcome.
