The Plant Sale at St Peter's Church was a great success. We were blessed with a sunny afternoon, and some very generous donors of plants. There was a continuous trickle of visitors to buy, and some stayed for a cup of tea and a chat. £215.25 was raised for St Peter's Church, and we want to say a big THANK YOU to all who supported this new event.

Sad news - Fran Walsh.
We have heard the sad news that Fran died on the night of 29th/30th March in Hospital, in Bristol. Fran lived for many years in King William Road, and was the Secretary of the St Peter's Friends group for a long time. She also supported other Church activities. Her family have asked that the news be spread to all who would have known her.

Yesterday the crosses were put in place outside St Peter's Church, and the Easter Garden had the finishing touches. Both are now ready to represent the sacrifice of Christ on the Cross, and the tomb in which he was placed after death, on Good Friday.

The Easter Garden in the churchyard is beginning to look very good.
