A Pet Service - 11am Sunday 11th October at St Francis Chapel Stawell.
What better way to mark the 800th Anniversary of St Francis of Assisi.
Please note that this is instead of the Stawell 9.30 Morning Worship that is in the published service listing for October for the Benefice of the United Polden Churches.

Today at 11am there was a service at All Saints Church in Ashcott to launch the new United Poldens Churches Benefice. Unfortunately Rich Tweedy was unable to be with us due to a serious family illness, and the service was taken by Bishop Trevor Willmott. The music was provided by Polden Praise and singers who have previously sung with the MOMSS choir. The service was followed by a substantial 'Bring and Share' lunch with a warm and friendly atmosphere. Many thanks to the team at Ashcott who provided the liquid refreshment and tidied up after us.
We now look forward to new beginnings!

Help us to recognise our responsibility to cherish it; to stop damaging it, and to commit ourselves to doing all that we can to safeguard the integrity of your creation.

The beginning of a new era - we mark the formation of the new Benefice - The United Polden Churches - with a Benefice Service at All Saints Church, Ashcott on Sunday 13th September. Please come and join us and enjoy a time of fellowship as we enjoy a 'Bring and Share' lunch after the service.
Other highlights are the Harvest Services and a Prayers for Peace service.
This post has been updated to reflect a couple of changes in services held at Moorlinch. The Team Service on 27th September will be at 10am (and not 9.30am as previously advertised). In addition, there will be 10am Harvest Service at Moorlinch on 4th October (not shown on the poster).

Please remember this meeting on Thursday evening. No clashes with the football, so why not come along, find out what the current thoughts are about the project at the Church, and let us know your thoughts. This is the time to tell us, before we progress any further. It is open to anyone, you don't need to be an active member of the congregation, but just have an interest in the future of the Church.
