Join us for a wonderful evening of music with Côr Tadau Trisant, a vibrant male voice choir with an inspiring story at its heart.
Formed in the spring of 2013, the choir began as a group of dads whose children attended Ysgol Gynradd Gymraeg Llantrisant, coming together with one simple aim: to perform at their school’s PTA Summer Ball. With the musical expertise of Tim Edwards of Only Men Aloud! as Musical Director, sixteen dads took to the stage—and received rapturous applause!
Since then, the choir has grown into a forty-strong community choir, welcoming members from across the local area. Their ever-expanding repertoire ranges from beloved Welsh hymns and classics to contemporary favourites by Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, and more.
🌟 Performance highlights include:
• The Senedd in support of 2Wish
• TV debut on Heno
• Concerts at St David’s Cathedral and All Saints Church, Oystermouth
• Sharing the stage with Nick Knowles and Amy Wadge at ICC Wales
• Fundraising performances for charities including 2Wish and the Alzheimer’s Society
They will be joined by Bridgends’s Llangewydd Junior School Choir.
Sir Gareth and Lady Edwards will also be in attendance. We are raising money for the Gareth Edwards Cancer trust which supports young people with cancer and our churches.
Expect an uplifting, entertaining evening of powerful harmonies in the beautiful setting of St Mary’s Church.
