✝️ The Exaltation of the Holy Cross

The Cross reminds us that God’s love is willing to go all the way, even through suffering. Jesus didn’t choose the easy path; He chose love, sacrifice, and trust in the Father.

Let’s look to the Cross, not with fear, but as a sign of a love that never gives up on us. ❤️‍🔥

“And should not you have had mercy on your fellow servant, as I had mercy on you?” Matthew 18:33

How many times should we forgive?

Peter thought seven times was generous. But Jesus challenges him to go beyond keeping count.

Forgiveness isn't always easy. Some hurts take time, and forgiveness doesn't mean pretending that nothing happened. But today's Gospel reminds us to remember the mercy God has shown us, and to let that mercy shape how we treat others.

We have been forgiven, loved, and given another chance by God more times than we can count.

So today, is there someone you need to begin forgiving?

"Made for a purpose" - Year 13 Retreat

Are you starting Year 13 and wondering “What next?” 🤔

Come away for 2 nights at Walsingham House at Abbotswick, from 7th - 9th October, and take some time to pause, pray, reflect and think about what God might have in store for you. 🙏✨

This retreat is a chance for you to step away from the pressure, reset and start Year 13 with a clear focus for the future, in a beautiful retreat setting, with meals and accommodation and youth-led formation.

✨ Introducing our new Walsingham House 2026 volunteer team! ✨
From L–R we have: Matilda, Harriet (Second Year), Alfie, (Fr Michael!) Gabriel & our Programme Leader Erin.

It’s been a great first weekend welcoming the team to Walsingham House as they officially moved in! They’ve already settled in with a BBQ, some time getting to know one another, and Mass celebrated by Fr Michael. 🙏

We’re so excited for the year ahead and all that’s to come. The new team can’t wait to work with you, and share all their wonderful gifts and talents to bring another year of retreats, faith and fun to our youth retreat centre ❤️
