Today, we celebrate the Feast of Corpus Christi – a reminder of one of the greatest gifts of our faith: the Real Presence of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist.

In a world that can often feel busy, noisy and disconnected, Corpus Christi invites us to pause and remember that Jesus is truly with us. Not just as an idea or a memory, but present in the Blessed Sacrament, offering us strength, peace and love.

The Eucharist is more than something we receive; it is an invitation to become more like Christ, sharing His love with others and bringing hope to the world around us.

Today, take a moment to spend time with Jesus, whether at Mass, in Eucharistic Adoration, or in quiet prayer. Let His presence remind you that you are known, loved and never alone.

🔥 Feast of St Charles Lwanga & Companions 🔥

Today we celebrate St Charles Lwanga and his companions, young men whose faith, courage and love for Christ remained strong even in the face of persecution.

As patron saints of African youth and young Catholics, their witness reminds us that holiness is not reserved for the few - it is a call for all of us as young people, to live with courage, integrity and hope.

🙏 St Charles Lwanga and Companions, pray for us.

✨ YOUTH MASS THIS THURSDAY ✨

Join us this Thursday at Brentwood Cathedral for our monthly Youth Mass 🙌

🍕 6pm – Pizza & refreshments in the Parish Hall
🙏 7:30pm – Youth Mass in the Cathedral

During this busy exam season for so many young people, we hope you’ll join us for a chance to pause, reflect and pray. Before Mass, there will be prayer stations in the Cathedral, offering space to take a break, find some peace and place your intentions before God.

Whether you come with a group or on your own, everyone is welcome!

See you there 👋

“As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you. Receive the Holy Spirit.” 🕊

Today we celebrate Pentecost, often called the birthday of the Church! It is the day when the disciples were filled with the Holy Spirit and given the courage and confidence to go out and share the message of Jesus.

Pentecost matters because it reminds us that we are never left to live our faith alone. As Catholics, we believe the Holy Spirit guides us, strengthens us and helps us make choices rooted in love, kindness and truth.

Today is also a special day as many young people are being confirmed in their parishes. Confirmation is not the end of faith but the start of a deeper journey with God. We pray that the Holy Spirit fills them with courage and joy as they continue to grow in faith and live as witnesses of Christ. 🙏

Last week our Walsingham House team lead some wonderful school retreats exploring the Fruits of the Holy Spirit 🕊️🍇

Through prayer, conversations and plenty of fun, we discussed each different one and explored how all these fruits can shape our everyday lives 💙

Thank you to everyone who joined us and made it such a special few days! We pray that these fruits keep growing 🌱✨

✨ Feast of the Ascension ✨

After the Resurrection, Jesus returned to the Father, trusting His mission to His disciples - and that includes us.

The Ascension reminds us that our faith is something we live and share. At school, at home, online… we are called to be witnesses of hope, truth, and love 🔥

You may have seen on our stories that last week the Walsingham House team spent a couple of days in beautiful Ireland! ✨

The team spent a wonderful few days on pilgrimage, exploring the beautiful city of Galway and visiting Salthill Beach, before taking part in the inspiring Live Life Youth Retreat led by the family of Donal Walsh, who many will remember from the October Youth Mass.

The pilgrimage concluded in Knock, where the team visited the Shrine and learned more about the apparitions, ending the trip with a prayerful and memorable experience 🙏

If you are currently in Year 13, this could be you next year! Applications are still open to join the Walsingham House team — an incredible opportunity to grow in faith, serve others, make lifelong friendships, and be part of unforgettable experiences like this.💙

In 1917, the Virgin Mary appeared to three young shepherds, Francisco Marto, Jacinta Marto, and Lúcia dos Santos, in Fatima, Portugal, with the message that through prayer, choosing what’s right, and offering your life to God, you can be a light in the world. 🔆

These three young saints responded with incredible courage and faith, becoming witnesses of hope in a troubled world, just like we’re called to be today 🔥

Through them, she showed that no one is too young to be part of God’s plan ✝️

Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us!
