🌿Last Sunday was such a meaningful time together in church 🙏
Pastor Peter shared a powerful message about work — reminding us that work is part of God’s design for our lives.
From the very beginning, we were created to partner with Him in His creation, using our gifts and efforts to reflect His goodness.
We were encouraged to think about what work really is: “The human effort to maximise God’s provision.”
And also reminded that if our work doesn’t feel good or life-giving, something may need to change.
During the service, a few members of our congregation were interviewed about their jobs — sharing honestly what they enjoy and what they find challenging. It was so encouraging to hear real stories from everyday life and to stand together in prayer over them 🙌
We also reflected on God’s care for us: “Give us today our daily bread” – Matthew 6:11
A beautiful reminder that God provides, walks with us in our work, and invites us into both purpose and rest.
