Paul meets Jesus. 👑This man is my chosen instrument to proclaim my name to the Gentiles and their kings and to the people of Israel. 📖 Saul, the persecuter, had met with Jesus in a spectacular way on the Damascus road. Thus began his life of mission, and what a mission, journeying up to maybe 10,000 miles, to many countries, establishing many churches. All directed by the prompting of the Holy Spirit. His journeys weren't without problems or difficulties but he persevered anyway, always pointing others to salvation in Jesus. Our own lives as Christians is a missionary journey, even with its difficulties, chatting over the garden gate, in the supermarket or travelling to distant lands and should always point others to Jesus in any way the Spirit leads. Honour Jesus 😇. Genesis ch47v10 And Jacob blessed Pharaoh, and went out from before Pharaoh. 📖 The account of Jacob in the book of Genesis has so many twists and turns that can teach us so much. Pharaoh asked him how old he was, Jacob's reply, 'I have been a sojourner in the land for one hundred and thirty years'. Meaning he was a traveller as were his fathers before him. Note that even in Egypt, a place of bo***ge or slavery, that Jacob blessed Pharaoh and through the wisdom of Joseph, Jacobs son, Pharaoh owned the entire land of Egypt. Not only did Pharaoh prosper but also Jacob and his household. Jesus, in Luke ch6 has a lot to say about blessing those who mistreat us, even if we're in an Egypt season, for in blessing our abusers we also will be blessed. 🙏🏼With love, Pastor Rich 🛐✝️😇

The Lord is my helper

Called for Jesus 😇 Exodus ch3v10 Come now therefore, and I will send you to Pharaoh, that you may bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt. 📖 Moses journeying got off to a very rocky start after having been raised in the luxury of pharoahs palace. He committed murder and had to run for his life but God was with him, gave him a wife and a job and eventually sent him to pharoah to rescue God's people. An amazing account of life's ups and downs, of hardships and victories. Our life may be similar, maybe we think we've blown it, that life has come against us and there is no hope, but beloved, God has not forgotten you, he's making you stronger for your next season. Running from Jesus 🐋 Jonah ch1v1-3 The word of the Lord came to Jonah son of Amittai, 'Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry against it; for their wickedness is come up before me.' But Jonah rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of the Lord. 📖 In all our journeying, there may be times that for many reasons, we head off in the wrong direction. Maybe we didn't hear correctly, maybe we doubted, maybe we thought the journey too tough. Whatever the reason, if God has a plan, a work for us to to, a mission to accomplish, a place to go, He'll ensure that His work is done. Jonah was fearful of those in Nineveh and ran from the Lord but God prepared a great fish to put him back on track. Being swallowed by a great fish doesn't sound very attractive but God can use our 'I feel like I've been swallowed by a great fish' season for His purpose and our blessing. Run with Jesus.. 🚗 Hebrews ch11v1, 2 Let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us,
Looking unto Jesus... 📖 We may look at travellers in the bible, Noah, Abraham, Jacob, Jonah, Moses, Paul and many others who achieved great success during and after the journey. Most of you know that I set out on a journey a month ago and I'm pleased to report that I'm now home after driving 3000 miles and two long sea crossings, having stayed in several different homes, met many wonderful people, shared in fellowship groups and have been mightily encouraged. My journey maybe wasn't like those named above but one thing we can all say, God was with us, every step, providing, delivering, putting helpers in place at the right time. Hallelujah! God is also with you on your journey whether you feel Him or hear Him or not. Be encouraged, keep on the journey, looking uto Jesus. 🙏🏼With love, Rich 🚜🚢😇
