⚫️🔲⚪️🪻🚫🌿 CELEBRATING AND PARTICIPATING IN PROPHET MUHAMMAD ﷺ BIRTHDAY ‘AL-MAWLAD’ IS BIDʿAH (INNOVATION)❗️
▪️▪️▪️
📚 بسم اللہ الرحمن الرحیم 📚
🔲⚪️🪻🌸🌿 "Bismillah ir Rahmaan ir Raheem." (In the name of Allah the most Compassionate most Merciful).
▪️▪️▪️
🔲⚪️🪻🌼🌿 PROPHET MUHAMMAD ﷺ
🔲🪻 All praise belongs to Allah, Lord of the worlds. May Allah's peace and blessings be upon His final and most beloved Messenger, Muhammad ﷺ, upon his family, his Sahaabah Companions and all those who follow his Sunnah until the Day of Judgement.
▪️▪️▪️
⚫️🔲💚🌿 INTRODUCTION: LOVING THE FINAL PROPHET MUHAMMAD ﷺ.
🔲🤍 Every Muslim must love the final most beloved Prophet and Messenger of Allah, Muhammad ﷺ (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).
🔲🩷 But genuine love for
the final most beloved Prophet and Messenger of Allah, Muhammad ﷺ (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)nis not merely saying that we love him. Genuine love means believing him, obeying him, following his Sunnah and avoiding introducing into Islam acts of worship that he did not teach.
🔲🩵 Allah says: “Say, O Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, ‘If you sincerely love Allah, then follow me; Allah will love you and forgive your sins.’” (The Noble Qur'an 3:31).
📜 This verse gives us an important principle:
🔲💚 Love is demonstrated through following.
🔲🩷 Allah also says: “Indeed, in the Messenger of Allah you have an excellent example for whoever has hope in Allah and the Last Day and remembers Allah often.” (The Noble Qur'an 33:21).
🔲🤍 Therefore, when we say:
🔲💙 “I love Muhammad ﷺ.”
📜 We should also ask:
🔲🩷 “Am I following Muhammad ﷺ?”
▪️▪️▪️
1️⃣ WHAT IS AL-MAWLAD? 🤔
🔲 💭 Al-Mawlid generally refers to gatherings or celebrations held to commemorate the birth of the final most beloved Prophet and Messenger of Allah, Muhammad ﷺ (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)
🔲📜💡The issue we must understand is this:
🔲 Was an annual celebration of
the final most beloved Prophet and Messenger of Allah, Muhammad ﷺ.
birth taught by Allah or His final most beloved Prophet and Messenger of Allah, Muhammad ﷺ (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)⁉️
🔲📜🚫 There is no authentic hadith or Qur'an verse in which the final most beloved Prophet and Messenger of Allah, Muhammad ﷺ instructed his Sahaabah Companions to hold an annual celebration of his birth.
🔲⚠️ There is also no authentic evidence that:
🔲🚫 Abu Bakr Sadiqque (may Allah be pleased with him) celebrated it;
🔲🚫 ʿUmar ibn al-Khattab ibn Nufayl ibn Abdul-Uzza
celebrated it;
🔲🚫 ʿUthman ibn Affan"
celebrated it;
🔲🚫 The Sahaabah (the Prophet’s companion) Ali ibn Abi Talib ibn Abd al-Muttalib ibn Hashim (may Allah be pleased with him) celebrated it;
🔲🚫 Or the other Sahaabah Companions (may Allah be pleased them) celebrated it as an annual religious occasion.
🔲🤍 The Sahaabah (Companions) were the people who loved the final most beloved Prophet and Messenger of Allah, Muhammad ﷺ (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) most deeply.
🔲🚫 Yet they did not establish an annual Mawlid celebration.
▪️▪️▪️
🔲⚪️🌿🤔 WHAT DOES “AL-MAWLID/AL MAWLAD MEAN, AND WHERE DID IT COME FROM? 💭
🔲 Mawlid or Mawlad (مَوْلِد) comes from the Arabic root related to birth. Mawlid/Mawlad literally refers to a time/place of birth, and in this context Mawlid an-Nabī means the birth of the Prophet ﷺ. So your understanding of the name is correct. ✅️
🔲📜 But there is an important distinction:
🔲 The word “Mawlid” or "Mawlad" itself is Arabic and simply refers to birth.
🔲💡 The question is about the later practice of holding a special annual celebration for the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ birth.
🔲🚫 There is no authentic Qur’anic verse or sahih hadith in which the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ instructed his Sahaabah Companions to establish an annual celebration of his birthday, nor is there an authentic report that Abu Bakr, ʿUmar, ʿUthmān, ʿAli (may Allah be pleased with them) or the other Sahaabah Companions celebrated it as an annual religious occasion.
🔲🏛 Historically, the organised Mawlid celebrations appeared centuries after the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and the Sahaabah Companions. Historical sources describe celebrations under the Fatimids in Egypt, while the famous large public Sunni Mawlid/Mawlad celebration associated with Muẓaffar al-Dīn Kökböri in Erbil occurred around 1207 CE (604 AH).
🔲📚 So I would be careful about saying simply, “one particular person invented it,” because the history developed in stages and Islamic scholars differ concerning the earliest form.
▪️▪️▪️
2️⃣ THE FINAL PROPHET MUHAMMAD ﷺ WARNED US ABOUT INTRODUCING NEW RELIGIOUS PRACTICES❗️
🔲💌 The final most beloved Prophet and Messenger of Allah, Muhammad ﷺ (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
🔲⚠️ “Whoever introduces into this matter of ours that which is not from it, it is rejected.” (Sahih al-Bukhari 2697).
🔲📜 The same principle appears in Sahih Muslim:
🔲⚠️ “Whoever does an action which is not in accordance with our matter, it is rejected.” (Sahih Muslim 1718a).
🔲💡The final most beloved Prophet and Messenger of Allah, Muhammad ﷺ (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) also warned:
🔲⚠️ “Beware of newly invented matters, for every newly invented matter is an innovation, and every innovation is misguidance.” (Sunan Abi Dawud 4607).
▪️▪️▪️
🔲⚪️🪻🌿⚠️ THIS IS WHY MUSLIMS MUST BE VERY CAREFUL:
🔲💡 .. When something is presented as an act of ʿibadah (worship).
🔲🗣 WE SHOULD ASK:
🔲💭 “Did Allah prescribe it❓️"
🔲🤔 “Did the final most beloved Prophet and Messenger of Allah, Muhammad ﷺ (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) teach it❓️"
🔲💭 “Did the Sahabah Companions practise it❓️"
🔲⚠️ If something is introduced into the religion as an act of Ibadah worship without evidence from the Noble Qur'an and authentic Sunnah, the Muslim should be extremely cautious.
▪️▪️▪️
3️⃣ WAS THE PROPHET PROPHET MUHAMMAD ﷺ BIRTHDAY ON 12 RABIʿ AL-AWWAL? ⚠️
🔲💡 This point needs to be stated accurately.
🔲⚠️ The exact date of the final most beloved Prophet and Messenger of Allah, Muhammad ﷺ (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) birth is NOT authentically established with certainty.
🔲💡 There are different historical opinions concerning the exact day of his birth.
🔲📜 Some historical reports mention:
🔲💭 2 Rabiʿ al-Awwal;
🔲💭 8 Rabiʿ al-Awwal;
🔲💭 10 Rabiʿ al-Awwal;
🔲💭 12 Rabiʿ al-Awwal;
🔲💭 and other dates.
🔲🚫 Therefore, WE SHOULD NOT CLAIM that an authentic hadith proves that the final most beloved Prophet and Messenger of Allah, Muhammad ﷺ (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was born on 12 Rabiʿ al-Awwal.
🔲📜 What is authentically established❓️
🔲🤍 The final most beloved Prophet and Messenger of Allah, Muhammad ﷺ (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was born on a Monday.
🔲🤍 The Sahaabah (companion) Abu Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet and Messenger of Allah, Muhammad ﷺ was asked about fasting on Monday.
🔲🗣 The final most beloved Prophet and Messenger of Allah, Muhammad ﷺ (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
🔲🤍 “That is the day on which I was born and the day on which I was sent (with revelation).” (Sahih Muslim 1162e).
🔲📜 This is authentic.
🔲💡So we know:
🔲✅️ The final most beloved Prophet and Messenger of Allah, Muhammad ﷺ (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was born on Monday.
🔲🚫 But the exact numerical date of the Islamic month of; Rabiʿ al-Awwal is not established with certainty through an authentic hadith.
▪️▪️▪️
4️⃣ THERE IS NO AUTHENTIC EVIDENCE FOR A SPECIAL FAST ON 12TH OF RABIʿ AL-AWWAL. 🚫
🔲❌️ There is no authentic hadith commanding Muslims to fast specifically on:
🔲🚫 12th of Rabiʿ al-Awwal.
🔲📜 The authentic hadith concerning the final most beloved Prophet and Messenger of Allah, Muhammad ﷺ (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) birth mentions Monday.
🔲📜 The final most beloved Prophet and Messenger of Allah, Muhammad ﷺ (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
🔲🤍 “That is the day on which I was born…” (Sahih Muslim 1162e).
🔲⚠️ Therefore, we should not tell Muslims:
🔲🚫 “You must fast on 12 Rabiʿ al-Awwal because it is the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ birthday.”
🔲🚫 There is NO AUTHENTIC EVIDENCE establishing such a special fast.
🔲💡 If a person happens to fast on a Monday because Monday is an established day for voluntary fasting, that is different.
🔲✅️ The Sunnah establishes fasting Monday.
🔲 ❌️ It does not establish a special fast specifically for 12 Rabiʿ al-Awwal.
▪️▪️▪️
5️⃣ ISLAM WAS COMPLETED. ✅️
🔲💌 Allah says: “Today I have perfected your religion for you, completed My favour upon you, and chosen Islam for you as your way.” (The Noble Qur'an 5:3).
🔲🤍 Islam was completed during the lifetime of the final most beloved Prophet and Messenger of Allah, Muhammad ﷺ (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)
🔲✅️ Therefore, we do not need to add new religious celebrations to make Islam more complete.
🔲🤍 The final most beloved Prophet and Messenger of Allah, Muhammad ﷺ (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)
🔲✅️ Taught the Ummah (nation) how to worship Allah.
🔲📜🪻 HE TAUGHT US:
1️⃣ How to pray Salaah.
2️⃣ How to fast;
3️⃣ How to give zakah.
4️⃣ How to perform Hajj.
5️⃣ How to make dhikr.
6️⃣ How to give charity.
7️⃣ How to treat our parents.
8️⃣ How to treat our spouses.
9️⃣ How to treat our neighbours.
🔟 How to behave towards Muslims and non-Muslims.
1️⃣1️⃣ And how to live our entire lives for Allah.
🔲💟 The religion is already complete. ✅️
▪️▪️▪️
6️⃣ "BUT I AM CELEBRATING BECAUSE I LOVE THE PROPHET MUHAMMAD ﷺ❗️
🔲💡 This is an important question.
🔲📜 We should never mock anyone who says:
🔲 “I celebrate Mawlid because I love the final Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.”
🔲 Many Muslims who participate in Mawlid genuinely believe they are expressing love for the final most beloved Prophet and Messenger of Allah, Muhammad ﷺ (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).
🔲⚠️ However, good intentions alone do not automatically make an act of worship legislated.
🔲🤍 The final most beloved Prophet and Messenger of Allah, Muhammad ﷺ (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
🔲⚠️ “Whoever introduces into this matter of ours that which is not from it, it is rejected.” (Sahih al-Bukhari 2697).
🔲💡The question therefore becomes:
🔲💭 “Did the final most beloved Prophet and Messenger of Allah, Muhammad ﷺ (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) teach us to celebrate his birthday every year❓️"
🔲🚫 There is NO AUTHENTIC HADITH establishing this.
🔲💭 “Did his Sahaabah Companions establish an annual birthday celebration?”
🔲🚫 There is NO AUTHENTIC EVIDENCE establishing this.
🔲💭 “Did the earliest generations of Muslims make Mawlid an annual religious celebration?”
🔲🚫 NO authentic Sunnah establishes this practice.
Therefore, those who regard the annual Mawlid as bidʿah (innovation) argue that the safest and strongest way to love the final most beloved Prophet and Messenger of Allah, Muhammad ﷺ (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) is to follow what he actually taught.
▪️▪️▪️
7️⃣ HOW DID THE PROPHET MUHAMMAD ﷺ HIMSELF REMEMBER HIS BIRTH? 💭
🔲📜💡 This is particularly important.
🔲🤍 The final most beloved Prophet and Messenger of Allah, Muhammad ﷺ (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was asked about fasting on Monday.
🔲💟 The final most beloved Prophet and Messenger of Allah, Muhammad ﷺ (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
🔲 “That is the day on which I was born…” (Sahih Muslim 1162e).
🔲💡 Notice what the final most beloved Prophet and Messenger of Allah, Muhammad ﷺ (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did.
🔲⚠️ He did NOT establish an annual birthday celebration.
🔲✅️ He taught the Ummah (nation) an act of worship that he himself practised:
🔲 FASTING ON MONDAY.
🔲✅️ Therefore, if we want to follow the final most beloved Prophet and Messenger of Allah, Muhammad ﷺ (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) regarding his birth, we should follow the authentic practice that he himself taught.
▪️▪️▪️
8️⃣ WHAT SHOULD WE DO DURING RABIʿ AL-AWWAL? 💭
🔲✅️ Rabiʿ al-Awwal is an Islamic month.
🔲🚫 But there is NO authentic evidence establishing a special religious festival for this month.
🔲✅️ Therefore, continue with the acts of worship already legislated in Islam.
🔲📚 Read and study the Noble Qur'an:
🔲 Allah's Book should be our daily guide.
🔲🕌 Pray the five daily Salaah prayers:
🔲🚫 Do not allow debates about Al-Mawlid to distract us from the obligations.
🔲💟 Recite and Send Salaat, Durood, Salutations, prayers and salaam upon the final Prophet final Prophet Muhammad ﷺ
🔲📜 Allah says:
🔲🤍 “Indeed, Allah showers His blessings upon the Prophet, and His angels pray for him. O believers! Invoke Allah's blessings upon him, and salute him with worthy greetings of peace.” (The Noble Qur'an 33:56).
🔲🤍 We should send abundance of salawat, durrod blessings and peace upon the final most beloved Prophet and Messenger of Allah, Muhammad ﷺ (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) throughout the year, not only in Rabiʿ al-Awwal.
🔲💟 Study the 'Seerah.'
🔲 Learn the authentic biography of the final Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
🔲 📚 Study authentic hadith.
🔲 Learn what the our final Prophet Muhammad ﷺ actually said and did.
🔲🤲 Make dua (supplication) to Allah
🔲 Ask Allah for guidance, forgiveness, Jannah Paradise and steadfastness.
🔲🥣 Give Sadaqah charity:
🔲 Feed the poor and help those in need.
🔲🌙 Fast voluntary (nafl) fasts according to the Sunnah:
🔲 Monday and Thursday is an established day for voluntary fasting.
🔲❤️ Practise the Sunnah.
🔲This is one of the greatest ways to demonstrate love for our final Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
▪️▪️▪️
9️⃣ WHAT ABOUT SINGING AND NASHEEDS? 🎶
🔲🗣 We need to be precise.
🔲📜 It is not correct to declare that every form of singing or every nasheed is automatically haraam (prohibited).
🔲💡The words, circumstances and accompanying actions matter, and Islamic scholars have differed over some forms of nasheed's and musical instruments.
🔲❌️ However, if a Mawlad gathering contains something that is independently prohibited, then that prohibition does not disappear because the gathering is called “religious.”
🔲📜⚠️ FOR EXAMPLE, MUSLIMS MUST AVOID:
🔲🚫 Obscene or immoral words;
🔲❌️ False statements about Allah;
🔲🚫 False statements about the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ (peace be upon him).
🔲❌️ Impermissible behaviour;
🔲🚫 Unlawful mixing;
🔲❌️ Acts of shirk (associating partners to Allah).
🔲🚫 Directing worship or dua (supplication). to other than Allah;
🔲❌️ Use of musical instruments.
🔲🚫 Or any other action that Allah has prohibited.
🔲📖 Allah says: “Cooperate with one another in righteousness and piety, and do not cooperate in sin and transgression.” (The Noble Qur'an 5:2).
🔲✅️ So we should judge each action according to the Noble Qur'an and authentic Sunnah.
▪️▪️▪️
🔟 WHAT ABOUT EXCESSIVE PRAISE OF THE FINAL PROPHET MUHAMMAD ﷺ❓️
🔲❤️ We love Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
🔲💚 We honour Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
🔲💜We send Salawat, durood, prayers and salaam upon our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
🔲⚠️ But the final Prophet final Prophet Muhammad ﷺ himself warned us against exaggerating regarding him.
🔲🤍 The final most beloved Prophet and Messenger of Allah, Muhammad ﷺ (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
🔲🚫 “Do not exaggerate in praising me as the Christians exaggerated in praising the son of Maryam. I am only His slave, so say: The slave of Allah and His Messenger
(Muhammad ﷺ).” (Sahih al-Bukhari 3445).
🔲⚠️ This is extremely important.
🔲 The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ is:
🔲✅️ The final Prophet Messenger and servant of Allah.
🔲🚫 He is not Allah.
🔲🚫 He is not to be worshipped.
🔲✅️ Dua (supplication) and worship belong to Allah alone.
🔲⚠️ Therefore, any Mawlid practice that involves worship being directed towards the final Prophet Muhammad ﷺ would be a very serious matter and must be rejected❗️
▪️▪️▪️
1️⃣1️⃣ WHAT ABOUT DECORATING THE MOSQUE ON MAWLAD? ⚠️💭
🔲❌️ There is NO authentic Sunnah that establishes decorating the mosque (masjid) specifically for an annual Mawlid celebration.
🔲⚠️ Therefore, Muslims should NOT believe:
🔲❌️ “Allah has prescribed decorating the mosque (masjid) for the final most beloved Prophet and Messenger of Allah, Muhammad ﷺ (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) Mawlad birthday.
🔲🚫 There is NO authentic evidence for this.
🔲💡 However, we should distinguish between saying:
🔲❌️ “This is NOT an established Sunnah.”
and making the blanket claim:
🔲 “Every form of decoration is automatically haraam (prohibited).”
🔲📜 Those are different claims.
🔲⚠️ The issue is particularly serious when an act is given a special religious status that Allah and His final most beloved Prophet and Messenger of Allah, Muhammad ﷺ (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) DID NOT ESTABLISH.
▪️▪️▪️
1️⃣2️⃣ WHY DID THE SAHABAH COMPANIONS NOT CELEBRATE THE PROPHET MUHAMMAD ﷺ BIRTHDAY? 💭
🔲💭 Think about this carefully.
🔲💟 The Sahaabah Companions loved the final most beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ more than we do.
✅️ They lived with him.
✅️ They heard his voice.
✅️ They saw his character.
✅️ They witnessed his miracles.
✅️ They fought alongside him.
✅️ They sacrificed their wealth for him.
✅️ Some gave their lives for Islam.
🔲💭 If an annual celebration of his birthday 'Mawlad' were an act of 'Ibadah' worship that Allah loved, why would the final most beloved Prophet and Messenger of Allah, Muhammad ﷺ (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) not teach it to them?
🔲💭 And why would the Sahaabah (the Prophet’s companions) not establish it?
🔲📜 This is why following the earliest generations is so important.
🔲🗣 The final most beloved Prophet and Messenger of Allah, Muhammad ﷺ (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
🔲🤍 “The best of people are my generation, then those who follow them, then those who follow them.” (Sahih al-Bukhari 2652; Sahih Muslim 2533).
🔲💟 These were the generations closest to the final most beloved Prophet and Messenger of Allah, Muhammad ﷺ (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).
▪️▪️▪️
1️⃣3️⃣ DO NOT INSULT OTHER MUSLIMS.
✅️ A Muslim who believes Mawlid is bidʿah (innovation) should explain his position with evidence and good manners.
🚫 We should not call people names.
🚫 We should not mock them.
🚫 We should not behave arrogantly.
🔲🤍 Allah says: “Invite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good instruction, and argue with them in the best manner.” (The Noble Qur'an 16:125).
🔲📜 Our objective is not:
🚫 “I must defeat another Muslim.”
🔲📜 Our objective is:
🔲✅️ “I want to follow the truth and invite my brothers and sisters to the Noble Qur'an and authentic Sunnah with wisdom.”
▪️▪️▪️
1️⃣4️⃣ 14. THE GREATEST WAY TO LOVE FINAL MUHAMMAD ﷺ: ❤️

🔲🩷 If you truly love final Prophet Muhammad ﷺ:
🔲👨👩👧👧 Be kind to your family and neighbours.
🔲💚 If you truly love Prophet Muhammad ﷺ:
🔲🚫 Do not introduce into the religion what he did not teach.
🔲📜 Allah says:
🔲🤍 “Say, O Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, ‘If you sincerely love Allah, then follow me; Allah will love you and forgive your sins.’”(The Noble Qur'an 3:31).
▪️▪️▪️
1️⃣5️⃣ A MESSAGE ESPECIALLY FOR MUSLIMS:
🔲😍 Dear sister (and brother) who has recently accepted Islam:
🔲🗣 You may find yourself surrounded by different Muslim cultures and traditions.
🔲📜 You may hear:
🔲🗣 “Everybody does this.”
🔲❌️ But Islam is NOT based upon:
🔲🚫 “Everybody does this.”
🔲📜💡ISLAM IS ONLY BASED UPON:
🔲✅️ “What did Allah say?”
🔲✅️ .. and: “What did the final most beloved Prophet and Messenger of Allah, Muhammad ﷺ (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) teach?”
🔲💡 Do not be afraid to ask questions❗️
🔲🙂 Do not be ashamed to say:
🔲📖 “Can you show me the authentic evidence?”
🔲✅️ The final most beloved Prophet and Messenger of Allah, Muhammad ﷺ (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) gave us a complete religion.
🔲🚫 You do not need cultural traditions to make Islam complete.
🔲✅️ You need only the Noble Qur'an + authentic Sunnah.
▪️▪️▪️
🔲⚪️🌸🌿🗣️ CONCLUSION:
🔲💟 The birth of our final most beloved Prophet and Messenger of Allah, Muhammad ﷺ (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was undoubtedly one of the greatest blessings Allah gave humanity.
🔲✅️ But the way to thank Allah for that blessing is to follow the final most beloved Prophet and Messenger of Allah, Muhammad ﷺ (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) not to invent a religious practice that he did not teach.
🔲🤍 The final most beloved Prophet and Messenger of Allah, Muhammad ﷺ (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
🔲🚫 “Whoever introduces into this matter of ours that which is not from it, it is rejected.” (Sahih al-Bukhari 2697).
🔲🤍 And the final most beloved Prophet and Messenger of Allah, Muhammad ﷺ (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
🔲📖 “That is the day on which I was born…” when explaining Monday fasting. (Sahih Muslim 1162e).
🔲⚪️🌸🌿🗣THEREFORE:
❌ There is no authentic evidence establishing 12th of Rabiʿ al-Awwal as the final Prophet Muhammad ﷺ definite birthday.
❌ There is no authentic evidence commanding Muslims to fast specifically on 12 Rabiʿ al-Awwal.
❌ There is no authentic Sunnah establishing an annual Mawlid celebration.
❌ The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ did not teach his Companions to celebrate his birthday annually.
❌ Decorating the mosque (masjid) specifically for Mawlid is not an established Sunnah.
❌ Any independently prohibited act remains prohibited, even if performed during a religious gathering.
✅ The final Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught fasting on Monday and Thursday.
✅ We should study his Seerah (biography/character).
✅ We should follow his Sunnah.
✅ We should send ṣalāh and salawat, durood, prayers upon Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
✅ We should obey Allah.
✅ We should worship Allah alone.
▪️▪️▪️
🔲❤️🤍💚🌸🌿 THE GREATEST CELEBRATION OF OUR LOVE FOR MUHAMMAD ﷺ IS TO FOLLOW MUHAMMAD ﷺ LOVE HIM ﷺ. 💟
🔲💜 Learn from him ﷺ.
