On this Mother’s Day it is a joy to celebrate you ! You are beyond what it means to be an incredible mom to our two amazing kids . I’m reminded of the verse, “When she opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue…” that’s you.. always helping so many to believe again, stand again, dream again, and remember who God has called us all to be. Bur today I want to honor the woman behind the words, the mother behind the moments, and the faith behind the fruitfulness; for and & I, you are the bringer of such great life, always building us up, always bringing strength with grace, always bringing such wisdom with love.
Happy Mother’s Day, Charl. I love you, and I thank God for the gift you are to our family and to so many around the world. But most of all thank you for the joy, the laughter, the thoughtfulness & the great love you have for each of our fam!

If church is just a place we visit for a service on Sunday, then it will always be limited and confined by the four walls of a building. But that is not the church…because the church is not a place or a building:The church is the people of God, and wherever we go, we take Jesus with us.

So when the service finishes, we are not leaving church behind, we are stepping into what it actually means to be the Church. Sunday is actually essential because Mondays matter and so does every other day of the week! Coming together on a Sunday as the local community of God’s people matters so much, because of how vitally important it is to carry Jesus into every neighborhood, campus, office, hospital, prison, & every place people are! Let’s be the church, the hands & feet of Jesus, stepping up and into God’s incredible purpose.

For many years I prayed for outcomes without fully understanding how much Jesus has already accomplish for us. Of course, there are still challenges and circumstances we will have to walk through, but the eternal outcome is decided… a million years from now will I even remember what is causing me stress today? Prayer FROM helps us remember we are not praying from defeat.
We’re not praying from panic.
We’re not praying from uncertainty.

We’re praying from the finished work of Jesus! That doesn’t mean life is easy, but it does mean the outcome is secure. Praying FROM the place of victory brings joy in the midst of even the greatest challenges, AND lifts our minds & hearts above, to a perspective of possibility. Try it when you pray! God is with you!

On this week, we are focusing on insecurity. If left unchecked insecurity doesn’t stay small, it grows… into comparison, fear, regression even depression and sometimes worse. What starts as a thought, quickly becomes a weight that becomes a ever-increasing burden to carry.
A fleeting thought soon soon settles into a mindset of quicksand. But there is a solution to all this! It is Jesus! He affirms our identity and replaces insecurity with a cure. He shatters depression and insecurity & replaces it with a deep rooted acceptance and love.
Freedom isn’t found in fixing yourself, its in surrendering to Him who has already accomplished our victory!

Have you ever entered a room and immediately felt the warmth of family, the weight of legacy and a sense of being a part of so much larger than anything you could do alone? Last week, I had one of those moments and I am still processing it all. It was the conference Church in Charleston, South Carolina.
For 25 years, ARC has championed the local church, strengthened church planters, encouraged pastors, and built something truly special: a family marked by faith, generosity, vision, humility, and genuine friendship. In a world where ministry can often feel lonely, ARC reminds pastors that they do not have to walk alone. There is a family cheering them on, praying with them, believing for them, and standing beside them as they build what matters most.
Thank you for your compassionate heart for people and pastors. Thank you for your God-given vision, wisdom, and leadership. Thank you for your father’s heart. And thank you to the entire Lead Team for carrying this vision with such faithfulness, humility, and passion. Your commitment to the local church and to the pastors who lead it continues to make an eternal difference. It is a joy and honor to play a small part in this story and to serve alongside like-hearted people for the sake of His Kingdom.
Here’s to the future, to the next one, to more churches being planted, more pastors strengthened, more communities reached, and more lives changed by Jesus.
