All of us at CAP are devastated to hear about the tragic incident at Big Church Festival.

We’re deeply saddened that a man has lost his life and are praying for his family and friends at this extremely difficult time.

This is a heartbreaking event that has shaken the Christian community, and we stand together in this time of mourning, looking to Jesus for his guidance, peace and comfort.

Please join us in praying for the injured, their families, all the Big Church Festival staff and volunteers, medical responders and everyone attending the festival.

We are devastated by the serious incident that took place at Big Church Festival 2026 today, in which a sign fell, injuring at least seven people, one of whom tragically lost their life.

First and foremost, all of our thoughts are with those who have been affected, their families and friends, and everyone who witnessed what happened.

Following today’s incident, we have made the decision to bring Big Church Festival 2026 to a close.
