St James Community Church, Bolton Rd, Bradford All are welcome here. No matter your regrets or past history, your age or abilities, your faith or your doubts. You’re invited. Sundays. 10.30am.

This is a church where newcomers often pop in - you won’t feel out of place. You won’t be judged, your children can make noise, we’d like them to. There is often joy and laughter in our services but if you need to cry, you’ll be cared for. What’s important is this: God loves us all and wants to come close to us and proved that by sending Jesus. Jesus loved everyone and as Christians, we follow his

Fabulous news!
Although we are of course in Bradford, we are part of the wider Diocese of Leeds. Bishop Toby has visited us often at St James as Bishop of Bradford, & hopefully will be again soon. *watch this space!*

We have a new Bishop! We are delighted that Downing Street has announced this morning that the Rt Rev Dr Toby Howarth has been approved by the King as the nomination to be the second Bishop of Leeds. Bishop Toby has been Area Bishop of Bradford since 2014 and Acting Bishop of Leeds since the retirement of Rt Rev Nick Baines in November last year and we are so pleased that he will be continuing to lead the diocese forwards.

Something new at St James.

Thursday 23rd April 10.30am to 11.30am (doors open 10.15am)
But if you arrive a bit earlier, you will have time for a cuppa and a chat, too.

At this first one, you'll have a chance to shape future Thursday Morning Bible Study and chat meetings.

It's also St George's Day and Shakespeare's birthday but you'll have to search Google to find places to celebrate them.
