Assalaamu Alaykum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh,

Dear Respected Members,

By the will and mercy of Allah (SWT), Masjid-E-Usman on Leeds Road has been serving our community for the past 35 years – Alhamdulillah. Over these years, the masjid has been a place of prayer, learning, unity, and guidance for many generations.

After 35 years of continuous use, the masjid now requires a major renovation. The planned work includes renovating both jamaat khanas, improving the wudhu and toilet facilities, and constructing new classrooms and WC facilities for the boys’ madrassa so that our children can learn the Deen in a comfortable and suitable environment.

To complete this important project, we aim to raise £150,000. To help us reach this goal, we are looking for 300 brothers and sisters to donate £500 each.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:

“Whoever builds a masjid for Allah, Allah will build for him a house like it in Paradise.”
(Sahih Muslim)

This is a beautiful opportunity for Sadaqah Jariyah — a charity that will continue to benefit you for years to come, InshaAllah.

Join us for a special night as we complete the recitation of the Qur’an in Taraweeh.

Sisters will also be able to participate in the dua in the Madrasah building.
