The programme, which is being run in association with Diocese of Leeds Faith Formation, is aimed at anybody who wants to learn more about our many-faceted Catholic faith in a congenial setting. It comprises, among other things, expositions of articles of the creed, lives of saints, Bible study and reflections on “Christian classics.” Each session is free, lasts only an hour and consists of a talk and discussion. Refreshments are served. The hall is accessible to wheelchairs and there is a bus stop immediately outside it. Everybody is welcome and participants may attend just one session or all of them. The sessions will be led by the Parish Priest, Mgr Paul Grogan, but as the course progresses, some participants may wish to take a lead in presenting or at least co-presenting. Join us!

The Diocesan Lourdes Roadshow - a fun evening to raise awareness about the importance of our annual Pilgrimage in July - starts off at St John the Evangelist's Church Hall on Friday 11th September. Join us for a great night! Twenty of our parishioners took part last month, the largest number of any parish in the Diocese, and this for the third year running. It would be lovely if other parishioners were to join us next July. St Bernadette, pray for us. Our Lady of Lourdes, pray for us.

A few more pictures from the Haf club over that last few weeks. Thanks be to God and His Holy Mother it was well attended and was a safe and happy experience for the children. In appreciation to our volunteers and caterers in Catholic Care. And a big thanks to Fr Paul for having the vision for the club.

Starting today is a Novena with Our Lady of Doncaster. We had a wonderful parish pilgrimage to St Peter in Chains in Doncaster. Join in prayer with this Novena to Our Blessed Mother.
