Study for today: Reward for our work.

Galatians 6:7 GNB Do not deceive yourselves; no one makes a fool of God. People will reap exactly what they sow.

The Bible says we should not deceive ourselves, we can't make a fool of God, we will reap exactly what we sow. At times we think we can play God, we will sow bad and expect to harvest good, it can't happen like that, it's what we sow that we will reap. We should be ready to harvest exactly what we sow, that will help us to sow only what is good and we will be rewarded with good.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, we receive the grace to sow what is good, for us to be rewarded with good.

Study for today:What kills our spiritual life.

Ephesians 2:1 GNB In the past you were spiritually dead because of your disobedience and sins.

The things that kill our spiritual life is disobedience and sins. Spiritual life is a life filled with the Holy Spirit, it's a life directed, guided, groomed, guarded, governed, led, etc by the Holy Spirit. We are spiritual when we obey, surrender and allow the Holy Spirit to direct, guide, guard, govern, groom, lead, etc us the way He want not the way we want. Sins separate us from God. We should obey and stop committing sins and our spiritual life will be alive.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, we receive the grace to obey You and stay away from sins, for our spiritual life to be alive.

Study for today: How to avoid being judged.

1 Corinthians 11:31 AMP But if we evaluated and judged ourselves honestly [recognizing our shortcomings and correcting our behavior], we would not be judged.

The Bible says if we evaluate and judge ourselves honestly [recognizing our shortcomings and correcting our behavior], we would not be judged. We are judged because all we do is to justify the things we do instead of judging and examining ourselves, which will help us to recognize the wrong we do and correct them. We should judge and examine ourselves and we won't be judged.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, we receive the grace to judge and examine ourselves, for us not to be judged.

Study for today: Guarding our mouth.

Proverbs 13:3 NKJV He who guards his mouth preserves his life, But he who opens wide his lips shall have destruction.

The Bible says those who guard their mouths preserve their life, But those who open their lips wide shall have destruction. Most of the problem we have is because we refuse to guard our mouth, it doesn't mean we should not discuss with people but whatever we want to discuss with people we should first think before discussing. we should learn to guard our mouth and we shall preserve our life.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, we receive the grace to guard our mouth, for our life to be preserved.

Study for today: Total freedom

John 8:36 GNB
If the Son sets you free, then you will be really free.

The Bible says if Jesus sets us free, then we will be really free. We can only be free by living as Christ instructs us to live, not the way it pleases us. We should live the way Christ instructs us in all areas and we will be totally free.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, we receive the grace to live the way You instruct us to live, for us to be totally free.

Study for today: Those that will inherit the earth.

Matthew 5:5 NKJV Blessed are the meek, For they shall inherit the earth.

Jesus taught the multitude and said, blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth. According to the Cambridge dictionary meekness means to be quiet, gentle and not willing to argue or express our opinions in a forceful way. To be meek is the hardest thing to do as humans but if we do a great reward awaits us, everything will obey us. Though no one can be meek on his/her own, the grace must be given to the person by the Holy Spirit. We should ask Him for the spirit of meekness and be meek, and we will inherit the earth.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, we receive the grace to be meek, for us to inherit the earth.

Study for today: Those that are on the way of life.

Proverbs 10:17 NKJV He who keeps instruction is in the way of life, But he who refuses correction goes astray.

The Bible says those who keep instructions are in the way of life, But those who refuse correction go astray. At times we feel and think keeping God's or others instructions we are doing good to God or the people instructing, no we are not doing them good, every instructions benefits the keeper, for instance, if the maximum speed limit in a particular street is 30mph and we ignore it and drive as fast as 100mph it will definitely cause problem for us which might lead to us loosing our life. We should keep instructions and live.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, we receive the grace to keep instructions, for us to live.

Study for today: How to know the truth.

John 16:13 KJV Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

Jesus says when He the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide us into all truth, for He shall not speak of Himself, but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak and He will show us things to come. Have we been wandering to know the truth of any kind? Be it about people or life? Then the Spirit of truth can help us. The Spirit of truth is the Holy Spirit, for us to have Him with us we have to align with Him by surrendering to Him, knowing Him as a person, partnering with Him, fellowshipping with Him and having intimacy with Him, and then He will on His own way route us into all truth, and He will also show us things to come.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, we receive the grace to align with Your spirit, for Him to guide us into all truth.

Study for today: Having authority over all.

Mark 4:41 NLT The disciples were absolutely terrified. “Who is this man?” they asked each other. “Even the wind and waves obey him!”

In Genesis when God created the first man Adam He put everything under his authority but Adam lost that authority when he sinned, that's why anytime we commit sin we loose our authority to satan. Since Jesus was without sin He had authority over all the way God designed it from the beginning, that's why everything obeyed Him even wind and waves. When Jesus died He went to hell and collected the keys of authority Adam lost. The keys Christ collected wasn't for Him, He collected it for us, that anyone that believes in Him and come in oneness with Him will have the same authority over all. We should believe in Him and come in oneness with Him and we will have authority over all.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, we receive the grace to believe in You and come in oneness with You, for us to have authority over all.

Study for today: How to have good harvest.

Mark 4:8 GNB But some seeds fell in good soil, and the plants sprouted, grew, and produced corn: some had thirty grains, others sixty, and others 100.”

Whatever we plant grows according to where we plant it. The Bible says the seeds that fell in good soil, sprouted, grew, and produced corn, some had thirty grains, others sixty, and others 100. The question for us is, what are we planting and where are we planting it, because our harvest solely depends on what we plant and where we plant it. It's only when we plant good seeds in good soil that we will have good harvest. The seeds are our time, resources, knowledge, etc while the soils are where, who and what. We should plant good and we will have good harvest.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, we receive the grace to plant good and in a good soil, for us to harvest good
