As-Salaamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh

On this blessed occasion of Eid ul Adha, we pray that Allah ﷻ accepts your sacrifices, Ibaadah, duas, and good deeds 🤲🏾

May this Eid bring peace, happiness, barakah, and unity to our families and community. Let us also remember our brothers and sisters around the world who are facing hardship and suffering. May Allah grant them ease, protection, and relief. Ameen.

May Allah fill our hearts with gratitude, strengthen our Imaan, and allow us to continue the spirit of sacrifice and obedience shown by Our Prophet Ibrahim (AS).

TAKBEER TASHREEQ:

It is wajib for both men and women, whether praying alone or in Jama'ah to recite Takbeer Tashreeq after every Fardh Salah starting from the Fajr of 9th Dhul Hijjah (Tomorrow, Tuesday) until 'Asr of 13th of Dhul Hijjah (Saturday).

Males should recite it loudly while females should recite it softly.

🕋 Virtue of Fasting on the Day of Arafah 🕋

Just a reminder of the immense reward in fasting on the Day of Arafah (9th Dhul Hijjah) - Tuesday 26th May 2026.

The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Fasting on the Day of Arafah expiates the sins of the previous year and the coming year.” - Sahih Muslim

📌 A great opportunity to earn forgiveness and draw closer to Allah.

Let’s make intention, encourage one another, and take full advantage of this blessed day, Insha'Allah.

May Allah accept it from us all 🤲🏾

🤲🏼 Insha'Allah Eid Salah will take place on Wednesday 27th May 2026 at the following times:

🕕 5:30am
🕗 9.00am

👣 Those who live close to the Masjid are advised to walk.

🅿️ Those who are travelling by car, please park sensibly and responsibly in the appropriate places. Please do not park in front of driveways etc causing inconvenience to the neighbours.

🐾 In Loving Memory of Garfield 🕌

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our beloved mosque cat, Garfield, who was approximately 16 years old.

For the last few years, Garfield was a familiar and much-loved part of Masjid Ibraheem & Education Centre. Whether greeting worshippers at the door, resting peacefully around the masjid, or simply being a comforting presence, he brought joy to young and old alike.

Garfield was more than just a cat, he was part of the MIEC family and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us kindness and mercy towards all animals, and Garfield was fortunate to be cared for and loved by so many members of our community.

May Allah reward everyone who looked after Garfield over the years and grant them immense reward for their compassion and care.
