It is with profound sorrow and a heavy heart that we inform the community of the passing of Haji Ch Abdul Ghaffar Khan, a distinguished member of society, whose life was marked by dignity, service, and unwavering commitment to his community.
Haji Sahib was a lifelong colleague and loyal friend of Haji Mahmood Al Hassan, the founder of Islamic Centre Bradford โ Masjid Al Hasan. Their close companionship and shared dedication to community service spanned decades, reflecting a bond built upon trust, sincerity, and a common vision for the ุฎุฏู
ุฉ of the House of Allah.
He went on to become one of the founding figures in the vision and establishment of Madni Jamia Masjid (Thornbury BD3) working tirelessly alongside other pivotal personalities including Mawlana Hanif Qamar, Haji Muhammad Siddique, Haji Yaqoob, Haji Muhammad Fazal, Haji Muhammad Nazir, Haji Ch Bashir, Haji Mahmood Al Hassan, Haji Zulfiqar, and Haji Dawood Ahmed.
Together, they were among the founding generation who strived with great sacrificeโparticularly during the 1990s, to lay the foundations of Madni Jamia Masjid ( Thornbury BD3) and ensure its growth as a centre of faith and community.
His lifelong dedication to the service of the Masjid stands as a testament to his character and faith.
He leaves behind a lasting legacy of service, sincerity, and devotion that will continue to inspire generations to come.
