إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ

It is with profound sorrow and a heavy heart that we inform the community of the passing of Haji Ch Abdul Ghaffar Khan, a distinguished member of society, whose life was marked by dignity, service, and unwavering commitment to his community.

Haji Sahib was a lifelong colleague and loyal friend of Haji Mahmood Al Hassan, the founder of Islamic Centre Bradford – Masjid Al Hasan. Their close companionship and shared dedication to community service spanned decades, reflecting a bond built upon trust, sincerity, and a common vision for the خدمة of the House of Allah.

He went on to become one of the founding figures in the vision and establishment of Madni Jamia Masjid (Thornbury BD3) working tirelessly alongside other pivotal personalities including Mawlana Hanif Qamar, Haji Muhammad Siddique, Haji Yaqoob, Haji Muhammad Fazal, Haji Muhammad Nazir, Haji Ch Bashir, Haji Mahmood Al Hassan, Haji Zulfiqar, and Haji Dawood Ahmed.

Together, they were among the founding generation who strived with great sacrifice—particularly during the 1990s, to lay the foundations of Madni Jamia Masjid ( Thornbury BD3) and ensure its growth as a centre of faith and community.

His lifelong dedication to the service of the Masjid stands as a testament to his character and faith.

He leaves behind a lasting legacy of service, sincerity, and devotion that will continue to inspire generations to come.

We humbly request the entire community to remember him in their sincere duʿā’, and to pray for his family during this difficult time.

إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ

**Pir Syed Mehr Fareed Ul Haq Shah Sahib Gilani of Astana Aliya Muqaddasa Golra Sharif.**

Islamic Centre Bradford - Masjid al Hasan extends heartfelt condolences to their family, mureedeen and the Ahlus Sunnah on this immense loss.

They were a respected servant of the Deen whose life was devoted to the service of Islam, the people of the Sunnah and the mission of Khatme Nabuwwat (Finality of Prophethood).

May Allah grant patience to all those who mourn their passing and reward them for the goodness they brought to the Ummah.

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُمْ وَارْحَمْهُمْ، وَعَافِهِمْ وَاعْفُ عَنْهُمْ، وَأَكْرِمْ نُزُلَهُمْ، وَوَسِّعْ مُدْخَلَهُمْ، وَاجْعَلْ قَبْرَهُمْ رَوْضَةً مِنْ رِيَاضِ الْجَنَّةِ

O Allah, forgive them and have mercy upon them, grant them ease and pardon them, honour their abode, expand their resting place, and make their grave a garden from the gardens of Paradise.

May Allah grant them a high rank in Jannah Al-Firdaus and reunite them with their pure forefathers; the Ahlu Bayt and Sayyiduna RasoolAllah ﷺ.
