Warfield Church

Warfield Church Warfield Church meets in four locations across Warfield and North Bracknell. www.Warfield.org.uk

Warfield Church charts its origins back to 1016AD when Queen Emma granted permission for a chapel to be built, probably on the site of the present Michael the Archangel Parish church. Today Warfield Church continues to meet at the parish church, but due to growth in numbers, and our desire to ensure that all our communities have the opportunity to connect to Jesus, we also have congregations meeti

ng in Woodhurst, Whitegrove and Priestwood. One Church with many congregations bound together with a common commitment to communicating the Jesus story.

On Sunday afternoon there is an opportunity to meet our mission partners from Bulgaria, Yuri and Plamy - including refreshments.

Yuri is pastor of the Baptist church, and Plamy runs the “Blue House” where they provide social action. They have a vision to redevelop the Blue House into a Christian bookshop & coffee shop.

Please join us on Sunday to show them our support!

🚧ROADWORKS ALERT🚧
Various delays could disrupt your travel to church on Sunday. There are 3 highlighted below:
- The Bracknell Half-Marathon will cause delays along the purple route. You can see the full route here: https://www.everyoneactive.com/news/the-lexicon-bracknell-half-marathon/
- Until the end of May, there is 2-way traffic light control towards Newell Green (close to the roundabout on Harvest Ride)
- And crucially, Church Lane has been blocked this week by fly-tipping. We don't know if it will be cleared by Sunday, so we suggest that anyone coming to St Michael's comes from the East side of Church Lane instead.

Good luck to anyone who is participating in the Marathon!
