What an incredible CAP Sunday Service we had yesterday! 💚

A huge thank you to Helen & Charlie for sharing so powerfully about the life-changing work of Christians Against Poverty.

As we reflected, we were reminded of the words Jesus taught us to pray:

"Give us today our daily bread...and forgive us our debts." - Matthew 6:11–12

CAP’s work is a beautiful outworking of this prayer, meeting practical needs, lifting burdens and helping people find freedom from the weight of debt.

We’re so grateful to partner with CAP here at Lovechurch. If you were moved by what you heard yesterday, here are three ways you can respond:

What a beautiful time together with women across our community at our recent SHE event with Julie Milnthorpe. We gathered to be reminded that true freedom is found in Jesus and that we can trust Him to equip us with everything we need.

We heard powerful stories of testimony, and the importance of female friendships. We had a chance to pray for one another, and we were led in worship by an incredible all-female band. It was such a wonderful morning spending time together and in God's beautiful presence.

Many of you are aware that emergency services were called to an incident at Lovechurch yesterday that lasted over 6 hours and involved road closures. Thankfully the matter was resolved without serious injury.
We are grateful to Dorset Police as well as the fire and ambulance services for their help in resolving the situation safely. We particularly want to thank the HealthBus for their compassionate and professional approach towards a very troubled individual. Above all, we thank God for bringing everybody through safely.
