Prophetic invocations are powerful formulas of remembrance, rooted in the daily practice of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ who, as his wife described, “remembered Allah at all times.” (Muslim)
Ratib al-Attas is a collection of these invocations, compiled by the Yemeni scholar Umar bin Abdurahman al-Attas (1584–1662), offering many spiritual benefits foremost among them a deepened God-consciousness.

Regarding this Ratib, his descendant Ali bin Hassan (1709–1759) said:
“It contains secrets and lights, great benefits and abundant blessings so exalted in worth that they cannot be counted.”

In this Illuminating Month, Shaykh Hamza Yusuf will take us on a journey that explores the endless wonders of the Qur'an through a dynamic series of live sessions. We will explore the miraculous preservation of the Qur'an as a living oral tradition and continue our study of Imam al Ghazali’s The Jewels of the Qur’an, examining the linguistic and thematic genius of God's Book.

𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀:
This Ramaḍān intensive endeavours to present an overview of Imām Mālik’s life and his Muwaṭṭa, including a detailed study of the first few āḥadīth from it.

𝗢𝗯𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀: You will learn the
• Biography of Imam Mālik
• Transmissions of Muwaṭṭa
• Prints of the Muwaṭṭa
• Opening Words of Muwaṭṭa
• Analysis of first few āḥadīth

𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗕𝗶𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗵𝘆: M***i Ismail Moosa completed his Alim course at Darul Ulum Azaadville, and thereafter studied Iftaa under the world-renowned scholar, M***i Ebrahim Desai (may Allah Ta’ala have mercy on him). M***i Ismail is also the lead instructor at Ulum al-Hadith (www.ulumalhadith.com) where he has been delivering classes teaching Ma’rifah ‘Ulum al-Hadith of Ibn as-Salah and Nuzha an-Nadhar. May Allah accept his efforts and allow us to benefit from him. Āmīn Yā Rabb.
