Boscombe Baptist Church is a family-friendly, evangelical Baptist church situated in Boscombe, Bournemouth. We are made up of ordinary people of different ages, ethnicities and backgrounds, who come together to worship the same extraordinary God! We meet together at 10.30am on Sunday mornings for a contemporary worship service. Creche, children's and youth group activities are provided. On the fir

st Sunday of the month we share Communion together and there is a prayer meeting from 6-7pm. Whether a seasoned church goer or completely new to church, we would love to have you join us for one of our Sunday services.

Matthew 28:5-6 — He Is Not Here; He Has Risen

“The angel said to the women, ‘Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified.

He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.'”

This is the moment everything changed. The women came expecting a co**se, but instead they found an empty tomb and a heavenly announcement.

Notice the angel’s words: “just as he said.” Jesus had predicted His resurrection, and He delivered exactly as promised.

Consequently, we can trust every other promise He made.

HE IS RISEN! 🙏🙌🫶

Today we stop to remember the incredible sacrifice and love of that Jesus showed at the cross. ✝️

Through His sacrifice, we have peace, forgiveness, and hope of eternal life.

You're invited to join us this morning at 10:30am for our Good Friday Communion Service as we take time to reflect, worship, and give thanks together.
