Sundays are days when we can do something a little bit different from every other day. One thing we can do, is create opportunities to get to know people in our community / church over food.
Sitting at a table, be it breakfast, a light lunch or a communal dinner gives us time to get to know each other on a deeper level, to give each other time, to listen and to just enjoy new company
Jesus often ate with people—friends, strangers, sinners, and outcasts.
He used meals as moments to build relationships and show acceptance.
After Jesus’ resurrection, His followers continued this pattern.
Acts 2:46–47 says:
• They met daily, broke bread in their homes, and ate together with glad and sincere hearts.
No-one should feel alone. Praying for those today who are struggling to feel part of community
