Today we officially say goodbye to our Vicar of almost ten years, the Reverend Janet French. We thank God for her ministry in the united benefice of Christ Church Heaton and St. Margaret’s Halliwell and wish Janet and Larry a happy and healthy retirement. Thank you and may God bless you both.

Remembrance Sunday 8th November 2020:
Christ Church will be open for private prayer between 9:30am and 10:30am.

They shall not grow old,
as we that are left grow old;
age shall not weary them,
nor the years condemn,
at the going down of the sun
and in the morning,
we will remember them.

Although we cannot open up the Parish Centre as yet, Christ Church Heaton is Opening up for Private Prayer
We are now allowed to have the church open for Individual Private Prayer.
We are open on Wednesdays 10.30-11.30am (subject to the church not being needed for a funeral) – and Sundays 9.30-10.30am.
Social Distancing measures must be maintained in church. Available seating will be indicated.
We know that many of us are still covid-cautious and will not be considering entering church yet. But for others, the sacred space may be a lifeline.
Please do not attend if you have symptoms.
The church has been thoroughly cleaned during lockdown.
